Charlotte's been there for her best friend all through her life. Orm has been her childhood best friend and she saw all the stages of growth her best friend has. She swears she's willing to donate her organ for her because she knew that Orm would do the same but right now? Charlotte wanted to pull out all of her hair from her head the moment that she found out that the bride was missing from her room.
As someone who witnessed the journey to love of her best friend, she takes her role as the bridesmaid seriously. With the help of Mae Koy, the three of them planned the wedding together but she viewed herself as more of the wedding coordinator. And if one doubts her sincerity towards the honourable role given to her, they should have seen the number of alarm clocks set on her phone just so she wont miss any deadlines of fittings, flower deliveries or even the taste test of when they need to select the possible catering service. The three of them were altogether in every step of the way wherein the Attorney would occasionally join them, but if given her honest opinion, it contributed to nothing but her best friend's happiness every time she's with Ling. The Lawyer may suggest a thing or two but she never even contradicted what Orm wanted. She had the notion that the Attorney would just happily agree to throw herself off the cliff if her fiance told her so. That's how in love the Attorney is to her best friend that most of the time, she's thankful that she's already married to the love of her life because if not, the devotion and standard that the Attorney was showing to Orm haven't got no equal.
The wedding will start early in the afternoon and the organizer that they hired started to set the venue last night and would do the final touches later on. Ling will be with her colleagues and Engfah who she inevitably became friends with given the god awful amount of time that she and Orm spent with the wedding plan. On the other hand, Orm would need to prepare herself early so they could do their photoshoot with her maid of honors.
Charlotte set her alarm and even woke up before it blares off. There's spring in her footsteps as she makes her way towards her best friend's room and imagine the horror painted on her face when she finds it unlocked and what's worse.. Empty.
Dramatic as it may sound but the woman almost fainted.
She immediately reached for her phone to dial her best friend's number while her brain was simultaneously thinking of reasons why Orm's not here in her room. It's impossible for Orm to get cold feet. Her best friend's too in love with the Lawyer ever since she met her. If given a chance, she's sure that Orm would tie the college Lingling Kwong and drag her to the altar just to be sure that they'll be together forevermore. Everyone knew that Hell would freeze over first before Orm could back out from the wedding.
The second option is that someone is too infatuated with Orm or Ling to kidnap one of them, but she can't think of one. The Attorney's life is so focused on Orm and work that she doesn't have time to make friends outside of her colleagues , wherein, her best friend, although has numerous exes but Charlotte is sure that none of them were psychopath enough to stop the wedding or else face the wrath of Orm Kornnaphat.
The third scenario, however, was very plausible. Just the thought of her best friend sneaking out during her pre wedding night to spend it with the Attorney is definitely not impossible knowing how the two of them act wantonly when one is around. The thought of it is almost enough to make her want to snap the neck of her best friend. Couldn't the two of them wait until the wedding night before getting their mojo on?
