Satoru's perspective;

As I watched Y/N storm upstairs, her words cut through me like a knife. She thought I didn't understand her, that I couldn't possibly understand the depths of her pain. But what she didn't know was that I'd been watching her, studying her, trying to solve the cryptic messages she sent my way.

I sighed, rubbing my temples. Tonight had been a disaster. First, the notification from my credit card company, then finding Y/N drunk in some run-down bar in New Orleans... it was a nightmare. And now, she was pushing me away, convinced that I couldn't handle the truth.

I paced back and forth in the living room, my mind racing. What was going on with Y/N? What secrets was she hiding?

I stopped pacing and looked up the stairs, my heart heavy with concern. Y/N thought she was alone, and that I couldn't possibly understand her struggles. But I knew better. I'd seen the shadows in her eyes, the fear that lingered even when she smiled.

I took a deep breath and headed upstairs, determined to break down Y/N's walls. I wouldn't let her push me away, not now, not ever.

As I reached her door, I hesitated, listening for any sign of movement. The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the occasional sob. My heart twisted in my chest. Y/N was breaking, and I didn't know how to fix her.

I gently pushed open the door, slipping inside with a soft whisper. "Y/N?" The room was dark, the only light coming from the moon outside.

Y/N lay curled on her bed, her face buried in her pillow. I approached her cautiously, not wanting to startle her.

"Y/N, I'm here," I said softly, sitting beside her. "I'm not going anywhere." My voice was barely audible, but I knew she heard me.

Her body tensed, and for a moment, I thought she'd push me away. But she didn't. She lay still, her sobs subsiding into ragged breaths.

I sat beside her, my presence a gentle reminder that she wasn't alone. As I looked at Y/N, I knew I had to break down her walls.

She thought I didn't understand her, but I saw the shadows in her eyes, the fear that lingered even when she smiled. I saw the way Kaiten's name made her flinch.

Kaiten. The new student at school, And Y/N, with Kibutsuji inside her... she was a target.

My determination hardened. I wouldn't let Kaiten hurt her. I wouldn't let anyone hurt her.
