The Girl and the Nutcracker ~ A Once Upon a Time Story

All of Storybrooke walked around in confusion, as they met one another again after 28 years for the first time as themselves. Emma and Clara walked around with Henry towards Granny's Diner.

They saw a big hugging reunion, and overheard David and Mary Margaret talk about their daughter. Emma spoke up, "So it's true."

Her parents turned around in shock, and Mary Margaret approached Emma with a smile and tears in her eyes and gave her a big hug, "You found us." David joined their family hug as well.

"Grandpa?" Henry said and everyone laughed, while David nodded at Henry, "Yeah, kid. I suppose so."

David looked over at Clara, "Clara..." Clara smiled at him, "A happy family reunion, isn't it? I've been waiting way too long for this."

"Wait, you weren't cursed?" Ruby asked her and Clara shook her head, "Nope. I came to this world after the curse was cast."

"She did it." Henry said, "Emma saved you!" Mary Margaret smiled, "She saved all of us."

"Then why are we still here?" Leroy asked and David turned to look at him, "That, my friend, is an excellent question."

"And what was that smoke?" Mr. Clark, or Sneezy, said after he sneezed. Doc spoke up as well, "Who did this?" Bashful raised his hand, "And what was that smoke?" And Sleepy did too, "And why?"

"And what was that smoke?" Happy said and Mother Superior joined their little group, "It's magic. It's here, I can feel it."

"You're the Blue Fairy, do something magical!" Henry said with a smile, but Blue shook her head, "It's not quite that simple, Henry. No wand. No fairy dust. Matters are complicated now."

Clara snorted, and the group looked over at her, "What? I'm just laughing to myself. Because as for me..." She used her magic to make herself float a little above the ground, "I have no troubles adjusting to this."

"You can fly!" Henry exclaimed as Clara let herself back on the ground. Clara nodded with a proud smile, "Amongst other things, yeah."

Leroy stood in the middle of the group, "Let's go to the person responsible for bringing it, the Queen." The dwarves around him nodded in agreement, but Emma interrupted, "No, wait. It wasn't Regina."

"It's true, she was with us in the hospital." Clara told them, and then she realised something, "Gold... I will go after him, and you guys go and protect Regina from that angry mob over there."

The group looked across the street and saw a huge mob with pitchforks and torches stomping around. Clara walked away and headed towards Gold's Shop. When she entered, she didn't see a sign of Gold, "Gold?! I know you're here, I can sense your magic."

Gold didn't appear, but instead, Clara saw Belle walking out from the back of the shop. Clara looked shocked, "Belle? Oh my God."

She walked over to her and hugged her tight, "Where have you been all this time? If I knew you were here, I would have looked for you I-"

"It was Regina." Belle interrupted, "She locked me up all these years." Clara sighed, "It's always Regina, isn't it? ...So, how did you get out?"

"Someone helped me." Belle explained, "He told me to come here, and that Rumple would help me. We went to a well in the woods, and the curse broke."

"So where is Gold at?" Clara asked, right as Gold walked out of the back room, "Right here."

Clara glared at him, "You know that Henry almost died from that sleeping curse right? You could've tried to help him."

"But I did help. If the curse wouldn't have been broken, the magic would've saved him." Gold explained and Clara scoffed, "Yeah, right. The only way to help Henry was to help yourself, I see now."
