2x01: Broken

Clara turned to look at Belle, "How about I take you out for some good food and buy some good clothing, instead of... whatever this is."

Belle looked over to Gold, "Can I?" Gold nodded, "Of course. You can get to know the town."

Together, Belle and Clara walked around Storybrooke. First, Clara bought some clothes for Belle so she wouldn't be dressed in rags anymore. After that, they entered Granny's.

Clara pointed towards one of the booths, "That's my go to spot here. You can wait there, I'll make something quick for you. But I warn you, I'm not so skilled in the kitchen."

"Do you work here?" Belle asked, but Clara shook her head, "No. But everyone is busy with Regina now, and we're the only ones here. Well, at least I think we are."

Clara got a glass of coke and a piece of cherry pie from the freezer. She walked over with the plates in the air, and the glass of coke in her hand, "Here you go. I thought water and bread wouldn't be the first thing you'd want to eat after getting out of Regina's prison."

Belle gave a smile and took a sip, "Mmm. I've never tasted anything like this before! Wow..." She took a bite of the cherry pie as well, "Oh wow. Granny makes good pies."

"Trust me, I know." Clara said and the girls laughed. Belle looked at her, "So what happened all these years?"

"Oh, you didn't miss anything." Clara told her, "Every single day was a repeat of the last. The only thing that was different was Henry, and since I'm his babysitter I was also the only one who didn't end up in an endless loop. Only after Emma arrived, things changed for everyone."

Belle nodded, "I guess being locked up wasn't the worst then." The two of them continued to chat about Storybrooke, until they were done eating the pie. Belle sighed, "I think we should head back to Rumple."

"If that's what you want. Sure." Clara responded as she cleaned the table and together, they headed out of the diner. They enter through the back door in the Shop, and overheard David, Emma and Mary Margaret talking with Gold. Apparently, he had used his magic to summon something to kill Regina.

When the Charmings left, Belle and Clara walked out of the back room. Belle spoke up, "You lied to me."

Gold turned around to look at both of them and he shook his head, "No, I kept my word. I will not kill her."

"You toy with words like you do people." Belle said with disbelief, "You're still a man who makes wrong choices. I thought you'd changed."

Gold scoffed, "What, in the hour you've known me?" Belle stepped back from him with a hurt look on her face, and Gold regretted what he said, "Belle, I-I'm sorry. I am."

Belle walked out of the Shop and slammed the door shut. Clara looked at Gold, "You've been reunited for not even a full day and you already messed it up. I think that's a new record."

"Get out." Gold commanded and Clara sighed, "I guess I'll just make sure Henry is safe from whatever you sent to destroy Regina with."

Clara walked out of the shop and thought of all places Henry could be. She made over to the Town Hall, but when she arrived she felt a strong sense of dark magic. When she ran over to the main hall, she saw Regina with Jefferson's hat and the Charming's fighting a Wraith. Regina sighed in frustration, "It's not working!"

"What is going on?!" Clara shouted over the fight as she helped fighting using her magic. Regina looked over at her, "Magic. It's different here. Apparently not for you!"

Emma looked at Regina and touched her arm to take a look as Regina spun the hat again, but this time it started spinning to create a portal. David and Clara then get knocked back by the Wraith, and Emma saw the Wraith making its way over to Regina.

"Regina!" Emma shouted as she pushed her out of the way. The Wraith landed in the portal instead, but before he could fully disappear he grabbed Emma's leg and pulled her through the portal as well.

"NO!" David and Mary Margaret shouted at the same time. Mary Margaret ran towards the portal, "I am not losing her again!"

"Neither am I!" David shouted as he stood up and also made his way to the portal. Mary Margaret jumped through the portal, but when David wanted to jump in, but the portal closed just when he attempted to get in.

Regina and Clara watched in shock at the scene. And David got up from the floor, "No..." He turned to Regina with an angry look, "Where are they?"

"I have no idea." Regina answered and David approached her, "Are they dead?"

Regina still looked shocked, "The curse, it destroyed all the lands-" But David interrupted her, "Are they dead?!"

"I don't know!" Regina shouted back. David sighed in anger, "I should've killed you myself!"

"Well then, what's stopping you?" Regina asked and she pushed him up against the wall. The vines from the wallpaper started to grow out of the wall and strangled David, starting to choke him. Regina looked at him, "You think you're some heroic Prince? Please... you're nothing but the son of a shepherd. I should've killed you when I could. And now... now I can."

"Regina, think about what you're doing!" Clara shouted at her, and Regina turned to look at the teen, "You want to lecture me? If I remember right, the last time your magic didn't help me. So don't try to help me now."

Regina turned back to David and started using her magic to choke him even more, but she stopped when she heard a small voice, "Mom?"

Henry and Ruby looked at the scene, and Regina looked at her son, "Henry? What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing?" Henry asked as he saw David against the wall. Regina walked over to Henry, "It's okay. You're safe now." Regina released her magic and David fell to the floor, coughing. Ruby ran over to him to help him.

Henry looked around the room, "Where's my mom? Where-"

"They're gone." Regina answered for him, "They fell through a portal. They're... Henry. I'm sorry."

Henry looked sad and shocked at Regina, "No, you're not. You really are the Evil Queen. I don't wanna see you again."

Henry walked over to Clara, but Regina held him back by grabbing his arm, "No, don't say that. I love you."

"Then prove it." Henry replied, "Get Emma and Mary Margaret back. Until then, leave me, leave everyone alone." Henry released his arm from Regina's arm, and approached Clara to hug her.

Regina looked at her son, "Where will you go?"

"With me." David said as he approached his grandson and Clara, and together they headed out of the building along with Ruby. David looked at Clara and Ruby when they were outside, "I'll take Henry back to the apartment."

Ruby nodded and she headed back to her grandma to check up with her. Clara gave Henry a hug, "It's gonna be okay, kiddo. We'll come up with a way to get them back. We got the heroes in town to help us."

Clara looked towards David, "I know they're alive. Somewhere. We just have to figure out where."

"We'll try and come up with something tomorrow." David responded, "For now, we need to rest from everything that just happened."
