Hello Pretty People

How are you all feeling??
I hope everyone is healthy and well, with this let's start this chapter

At dinner, the quiet hum of the kitchen mixed with the soft clinks of cutlery. Tara sat across from her father, watching him as he skillfully plated the food. The warmth of their home usually soothed her, but tonight, her mind was racing. She knew she had to bring up the project sooner rather than later.

As they began to eat, Raghav broke the silence. "You seem to have many thoughts today, little one. What's on your mind now?" His voice was gentle, encouraging her to open up.

Tara smiled softly, knowing her father could always read her like a book. She took a breath and decided to dive in. "I actually wanted to talk to you about something. We've been assigned a project in my fashion journalism class—an interview, and I was thinking..." she trailed off, unsure of how to word it.

Raghav looked at her with curiosity, putting his spoon down. "Go on, what is it?"

"I was thinking of interviewing you," Tara said finally, her eyes meeting him. "You know, for the project. You're one of the biggest names in the industry, and I thought it would be amazing to include your perspective."

Her father leaned back in his chair, clearly surprised. "You want to interview me?" he asked with a slight chuckle, though his tone was thoughtful. "Well, I suppose I can't say I didn't see that coming eventually. But why me? Aren't there other designers you could interview?"

Tara smiled, a little more relaxed now. "Of course, there are. But I've grown up watching you work, hearing your ideas. I know this industry from your eyes. And honestly, no one knows the fashion world like you do."

Raghav studied her for a moment, his expression softening. "I'm honored that you want me to be part of your project, Tara. If this is what you want, then I'm happy to help."

Her face lit up, the weight she had been carrying lifting at his words. "Thank you, Dad. It means a lot. I just need your permission to include you as my subject."

"You have it," he said with a grin. "But don't expect me to go easy on you. This will be a professional interview."

Tara laughed, feeling the tension melt away. "I wouldn't want it any other way."

As we continued eating, I could feel the relief settling in after Dad agreed to be part of the project. But there was still more to discuss, and I wasn't quite sure how he'd feel about the next part. I pushed the food around on my plate for a moment before finally speaking.

"Dad, there's one more thing I need to talk to you about regarding the project."

He raised an eyebrow, waiting patiently. I took a deep breath and continued. "So, it's not just me doing the interview. It's actually a group project. My partner is... well, his name is Vikram."

"Vikram? Is he the guy who got you in knots?" Dad says. He looks at me curiously, waiting for more.

"Yeah, he is the one," I said, trying to sound casual. "He's my senior and we both have the same elective course , and we're working on the project together, and we'll both be conducting the interview with you."

Dad nodded slowly, setting down his fork, his expression thoughtful. "Alright. So, you want me to be interviewed by both of you?"

"Yes," I said, relieved that he seemed open to the idea so far. "I was actually thinking that we could do the interview here, at home. Vikram and I were discussing possible locations, and I thought it might be more comfortable for you if we did it here. Would it be okay if he came over this weekend?"
