10:12 AM Saturday Seoul, South Korea
"What do you say, this one?" Ye-Jin questioned, slurping the boba milk tea you brought for her.
"It's nice. What other options do you have?" You questioned her as she kept the dress in the closet.
"I don't think this is going to work," she said, annoyed as she continued drinking the boba.
You stood up from the couch and went to hug her. "For the last time, Ye-Jin darling. You will look hot in that emerald slip dress."
"I am well aware of that fact. But I do not want to look hot. I want to appear as the ultimate femme fatale in front of the media." Ye-Jin continued to whine.
You wanted to slap yourself for why you agreed to visit her.
If anything, you were surest of in the last two years of your friendship with her was that Ye-Jin loved herself more than anything.
And why won't she?
She was undoubtedly the strongest and brightest woman you had encountered in your whole life.
A university topper, masterclass consultant, and face of Seoul National University, Chae Ye-Jin was a force of nature. She had her ways of bending situations in her favour. Her morals were not clean, but you did not expect something less from her.
Poor girl suffered to process her emotions since her father's demise.
He was her anchor of sanity in the harsh world.
"Okay, how about this?" Ye-Jin said, catching you deep in thought.
You looked in her direction as you were struck in awe. It was a simple evening slip dress.
The beautiful mauve shade well complemented her brown hair that covered the back of the dress. Your crescent moon necklace would go perfectly with it, you thought to yourself.
The corseted fit and slit starting high up her thighs accentuated her figure. All that workout paid off for her. With light curls and little makeup, she would be the eye candy for the evening.
Ye-Jin, indeed, was a work of art.
"Thank you, honey. This is the exact reaction I wanted." She flipped her hair as she walked past you and adjusted her hair in the mirror.
