Lars and Lapis step inside the barn, the door creaking behind them. In the far corner, Peridot huddles, her arms wrapped around her knees, her body trembling. When she hears them enter, her eyes widen in panic.
Before anyone can take another step, she suddenly bolts toward Lars, clinging to him with desperation. Her arms wrap around his shoulders as she clings to his back, her face just above his shoulder, her eyes wide with fear. She peeps out from behind him, her voice cracking as she speaks.

Peridot: T-They came to find me! They're here! I-I can't go back!
As Peridot was panicking, Lapis expression hardens, her eyes narrowing as she watches Peridot cling to Lars. Her hands clench into fists, the tension in her body palpable as she slowly steps forward, glaring at Peridot.
Lapis: Why is she here?
Before Lapis would do anything rash and dangerous, especially when the ship is still nearby the area, Lars would raise his hand and place it on Lapis wrist.
Lars: She has allied herself with us and abandon Home-world.
Her face twists in disbelief, her anger flaring. She raises her arm, ready to act.
Lapis: An ally? After everything she's done to us? She's a Home-world gem, Lars! She's-!
As Lapis was raising her voice with disbelief, Lars would interrupt her, seeing this reaction of hers being reasonable but it would be a bad outcome should they get discovered by the ship at this moment.
Lars: I said she's an ally. We're not doing this now.
Lapis: Maybe to the Gems for the time being but not you, Lars... Please don't trust anything that gem has to say, all they do is lie through their gems and stab you in the back.
He lowers his arm as Lapis would show a sadden expression as she turned away with Peridot feeling quite hurt from this, Yeah... Peridot knew and expected this reaction from Lapis but didn't expect that it would hurt that much to hear all of that.
Things was getting more complicated by the seconds as Lars decided not to entertain this at the moment as he would just walk off as Peridot was still clinging to his back.
Lapis would watch on with sadness and frustration but Lars would continue to glance pass the barn door, out where the ship was getting closer and closer...
