Conrad's POV

As I walk into the train station, I immediately see Maya giving Logan a hard time over something.

Just as I approach them, I hear him say, "I'm not going to this stupid trek"

I knew it.

"What the fuck!" Maya exclaims.

"And why is that, exactly?" I chime in. They both acknowledge my presence, Maya with a smile and Logan with an obnoxious eye roll.

"Last time I checked, you were dying to meet hot Alaskan girls." I remind him.

He tuts. "Yeah, but I can't miss Knicks VS Lakers for girls, man." He looks up at the tiny TV screen playing the game.

"Hm, you're right," I hum. "The Knicks need you man. Let's go, M." I walk towards Maya.

"Are you serious?" She looks up to me. I give her a small wink and put my arm around her.

Just as we both turn, I hear a voice call out.

"Are you guys actually just gonna leave me here?" He asks, hurt washing over him.

"Well yeah, you don't wanna come right? Then don't." I shrug.

"Of course I wanna come man!" He whines.

"But how will you? All your money's gone." I state, faking a pout.

The idiot his money again.

As soon as I say that, he looks down at the floor, guilty.

"How did you know?" He asks.

I walk towards him. "You absolute moron, you really thought I wouldn't be able to tell you didn't bet all your money on the game?"

"Okay well, you guys have fun." He gives us his signature Logan Kailing crooked smile, shoving my shoulder.

"Logan, stop being dramatic. What are my savings for?" I shoot him a look.

He shakes his head. "No, Con. Those are your travel savings. You need to save that money."

"Money is literally just paper. It's made to be spent, not saved." I turn around to Maya and grab her bags

"The three of us, are going on this fucking trip. Together."

Before I know it, the blonde haired boy is joining us, tackling us into an uncomfortable group hug.

"Alaska here we come!"

"I'm telling you, we're gonna be on Alaskan TV."

"They'll be printing our pictures on their bills."

"The Alaskans don't know what's coming."

"I'm gonna get so drunk."
