The Infinite Realms shimmered around (Y/N) as she stood on a narrow, winding bridge of translucent green energy. The glowing expanse stretched endlessly in all directions, an ethereal space filled with floating islands, ghostly streams, and swirling ectoplasmic clouds. Beside her, Danny hovered effortlessly in his ghost form, his white hair catching the light like a flame.

"Okay, so let me get this straight," (Y/N) said, adjusting her backpack. "We're checking for naturally forming portals because ghosts—or people—could accidentally stumble into them?"

Danny nodded, arms crossed as he floated backward to face her. "Yeah. Natural portals are unpredictable. If they pop up in the human world, they could cause serious damage. And if they form in unstable areas here..."

"They could drag someone—or something—into another dimension," (Y/N) finished, her voice tinged with unease.

"Exactly," Danny said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, though. We've got this."

"Speak for yourself," (Y/N) muttered, eyeing the glowing, translucent ground beneath her feet. "I still don't trust ghost physics."

Danny laughed, landing beside her and nudging her shoulder. "You're doing great, Queen of the Infinite Realms."

"Don't call me that," (Y/N) said, though her cheeks flushed. "I'm not dead, remember? The Ancients just like me because I bake cookies for them."

"That's part of it," Danny teased. "But you also help me keep this place from descending into chaos. You're pretty much royalty at this point."

(Y/N) rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. Their banter was interrupted by a sudden crackle of static from the comm device in her bag. She pulled it out and hit the button.

"Danny? (Y/N)? How's it going out there?" Tucker's voice crackled through the device.

"So far, so good," Danny replied, taking the communicator. "We're heading toward Zone 12. No sign of instability yet."

"Just be careful," Jazz's voice chimed in. "Zone 12 has some of the most unstable energy spikes in the Infinite Realms. If a portal does form, it could be dangerous."

"Got it," Danny said. "We'll check in soon."

(Y/N) clipped the communicator to her belt as they continued along the glowing path. The landscape grew more surreal with every step, islands floating upside down and rivers of glowing green liquid cascading into endless voids.

"So," (Y/N) said, breaking the silence, "what happens if we find a natural portal?"

"Depends," Danny replied. "If it's small enough, I can destabilize it with an ecto-blast. If it's bigger... we'll call in the Ancients to seal it off."

(Y/N) nodded, though a knot of worry tightened in her stomach. She trusted Danny's abilities, but the unpredictable nature of the Ghost Zone always kept her on edge.

After what felt like an eternity, they reached Zone 12. The air was heavier here, crackling with faint green energy. The ground beneath their feet shimmered with unstable light, and strange ghostly creatures flitted in and out of sight.

Danny held up a hand, signaling (Y/N) to stop. He floated upward, scanning the area with a focused expression.

"Anything?" (Y/N) called up.

"Not yet," Danny said. "But something feels... off."

Before (Y/N) could respond, a faint rumble echoed through the air. The ground beneath her trembled, and the glowing sky above them began to distort.
