It was a good moment of comfortable silent riding through the both of you. The small fog of the noodles finally died down as you let out a satisfied sigh at the delicious meal. Setting the pot gently in the sink, you help Aizawa wash the pot and plates as you look out the window above the sink. Though the view wasn't much, it was getting dark. Travelling at this time is a hustle as Aizawa will have to drive you there. Noticing your gaze on the window, he spoke up to catch your attention.
"I have a spare guest room down the hall. Sleep here tonight." It sounded more like a demand than an offer and he silently winced at his tone. You smiled weakly turning to the tired man as you put the finished plates on a rack to dry.
"I'd love that, Shota-kun"Aizawa had always noticed that soft look when you talked with him. Was it always that shiny? Not sure. But he was sure, those eyes were the ones he had met before. It was just hard to grasp where. Unknowing to you, he had been secretly training you so that you could endure to take another person in the past. Whether be his or yours is not specified yet but what matters is he can be there to see it. He wants no... no he needs to see them. Opening the dark door and opening the lights, you walked past him to examine the room smiling back with tired eyes that matched his. "...Good night"
The room was dull. The only light source is the small lamp beside the bed as you stare blankly at it. You were anxious to go to bed even though you were sheltered in a pro-hero house. The security of his house is beyond great. Automatic lockdown systems and biometric safe rooms, you were sure U.A. built this thing for one of the best teachers. Though, the uneasiness didn't go away. Something is bugging no, no SOMEONE is bugging you. You sighed tossing on the amazingly comfortable bed that didn't bring any relaxation. During this stage of training, Aizawa hasn't managed enough connection to get him with you. It will drain energy out of you if you force him in and this is a major problem if he gets stuck accidentally. Thus, he wasn't able to see or feel what you saw.
It was dark. Too dark. For a moment you didn't know what happened when you watched your younger self walk to a convenience store with a smile plaster on your face. Along with some other people you knew from the present self. Light came as fast as the dark consumed you. A bar. You were sitting at a table in the corner, tensed, and a bit too realistic to be watching a memory.
"Drink up" You looked up but your eyes were only able to reach the burnt and stitched hand that was handing a cup of water to you.
"... and stop being so stubborn."An all too familiar voice rang out as you tried to force yourself to look up but only to pull back into a reality where you sat in Aizawa's room. No longer present in the dark bar.
Groaning you turned your face in the pillow mentally smacking yourself. From the hands alone, you clearly recognized the walking corpse. You should say that to Aizawa... no? It looks important if Dabi knew you. What if you were one of the villains? Okay, that would be a death trap. You will be the one in jail if that's it. Nah. Let's not do that. But couldn't Aizawa justify your action and why you were there? He could. But would he go far enough for you to risk a potential villain in his own house with two kids from that same villain's cause? For now, let's try to keep it to ourselves.
Maybe a bit longer until you fix your own mess. Can't be letting other people do things for you. Y/n.
"Aren't they related?"
"Yeah but... her quirk is different. It's just a hallucination quirk."Back in the safety of the base, Shigaraki is on the verge of killing everyone in sight right now. Originally, he had high hopes that you and your mother shared a quirk-based. If he can manage to fix some error in the high-end nomu, the mother will be his power course to capture you better. Both physical and mental trolls to submit better. Unfortunately, the woman who is now lying in the hospital bed is uselessly dying. Shigaraki groaned eerily scratching the already-dried skin which caused more irritation. The cobalt eyes just stood a few feet apart as the white hair man started to mumble like a madman. It's no longer surprising to see that man-child throwing another tantrum. They have been through enough. He just wants to end the deal with Overhaul. It's a pain to work with that bird sometimes.
"She's just supposed to be a bait no?" The blonde girl beside spoke quietly. Her lazy eyes followed Shigaraki's burst of anger on him. Her noticeable teeth are hidden behind the safety of a scarf. Dabi hummed gently as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
"If her mother is here, it wouldn't take long for her to notice the mother was gone. Take it as bait maybe" He stated simply walking past Shigaraki. The red piercing eyes twitch at the remark inching closer to the walking corpse."...what makes you think she'll come alone? That bitch had that Eraserhead tagged like a dog." Dabi simply shrugged at the comment. "She's a stubborn bitch that's why" Shigaraki gurnted in response pulling the heavy jacket away from his body as he threw it to a nearby chair. "...if she still is. That rat is truly chewing everything I want. No, not the girl... it's the crow ass bastard..."
Dabi looked over to the young girl who wasn't much interested in the topic at hand. Eyes wandering in the reflection of herself in the knife she held. "Can't get your mind off that girl?...ochacho?" "Ochako-chan"
Toga corrected her eyes travelling back to look at the man beside. "But no. I'm not. She's just like everyone else. And I have no intention of thinking of another so-called hero to save me when I don't need it." Her eyes however showed general interest as she looked up to meet Dabi. "But... y/n.. you knew her." It was a quiet question that rang between the two siblings but was cut short by the older man up front."Live the way you want," Shigaraki spoke out from the corner of the room looking over at the bed. "The world will be shaped into ours soon" A menacing laugh echoed through the dark basement halls as he reached for the woman with a sinister smile. Dabi ruffled the girl's hair to which she had no response. Though, a bait or not, he didn't know if this bait was worth the risk of putting everyone in danger. After all, from what they know, you have filed an official case for your mother's attack which put you as another target. Not many knew you. Even if they tried to dig up dirt, Dabi knew there was a governmental agency that had you covered for your life. A life that was never there in the first place.
"...but...sight manipulation... is a quite handy quirk..."
