Narrators point of view

It was a couple of days after the talk about the sorcerers that were wandering around with incredible magical power that may explode if they're not found and Jim and his friends were looking all over Arcadia for young ladies with tattoos on their necks or any strange behaviour and so far there was nothing and they were running out of time

Over the walkie-talkies that they had given each other, the three teens spoke : any luck on your end guys?

Toby: Warhammer had no such luck...

Claire: I didn't have any luck either... Even though it's just an Arcadia this feels like looking for a needle in a haystack

Jim: yeah needles that could explode... I just don't get it Blinky said that whoever these people are were going to be leaking out magical energy do you think that would make things easier to find them but it's been harder surely by now they would've noticed that something different by now

Toby: will probably but it's not like they're gonna say I can make snow cones with my hands or I'm a walking campfire... Obviously they're hiding their abilities because they're scared but yeah I would think by now we would be seeing I don't know freaky weather like I don't know, snow storms or really hot days considering that's what Blinky told us would happen

It was true the sixth I troll had told them that if they didn't find the sorcerer soon and figure out how to control their powers it would become like a whirlwind screwing out of control. Freaky snowstorms would appear the ground itself would melt into lava from the heat and Arcadia along with the eastern seaboard would be wiped off the map and if not sooner the world

Claire: it will be that they're hiding or denying their abilities... I mean let's be honest when we all discovered a truck about trolls, I'm pretty sure we all tried to deny at least in our mind

Toby: no way, sister Warhammer accepted immediately but I do see a point the one thing that doesn't make sense about any of this is the fact that Blinky said that they would be drawn to you and Jim right? Is anyone new popped into your life or if anyone knew been hanging around you too?

Claire thought about it for a moment : nope I've only been hanging out with you and Jim. I mean there was Mary and Darcy but I always hang out with them so nothing new there. What about you Jim? Any new girls showing up in your life?

Jim: not that I know of.... Except for right now, Darci and Mary's mom just arrived, which means it's time

He was referring to the fact that his mom was now leaving for her new job and the other town and leaving gym basically by himself but not before introducing him to his new babysitters

Toby: oh yeah I forgot that was today... Are you sure you're gonna be okay dude? I mean it was hard enough hiding your secret from your mother now you've got basically three babysitters that are going to be watching you pretty much 24 seven

Jim: they're not gonna be watching me every second of the day Toby just checking up on me from time to time

Claire sounded nervous over the radio : well you say that but... I overheard my mom talking to Darcy's and Mary's mom trying to convince them of something it turns out my mom still pretty... Pissed about you know the supposed grave in our house and she's apparently doing everything in her power to make sure you get in trouble

Toby : damn that is petty... Did the other moms take the idea?

Claire: not really even though they've been friends since they were our age they didn't like the idea of teaming up on Jim to get him into trouble because of a grudge that my mom has with him and like I said before Mary's mom respects you for throwing that pose so I don't think they're in on it, but you should still be careful around my mom. She's gonna look for any excuse to get you in trouble.
