"Shit! How could I be so negligent?" Shivnya's voice echoed through the room, a mix of frustration and disbelief. Abhimanyu, sensing her distress, immediately went to her side. "What happened, jaan?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

With a trembling hand, Shivnya turned her phone towards him. "See for yourself," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

He scanned the email, confused knitting his brows together. "Didn't you know about this?"

"No, I didn't check... I was swamped with household chores. How did I overlook this?" she lamented, guilt and frustration battling for dominance in her voice.

"It's okay, jaan. There's still time. Let's head straight to Delhi. You can prepare for the launch party there, and I'll handle my work," he suggested gently, offering her a reassuring smile. Shivnya nodded, a glimmer of hope returning to her eyes. "Alright, let's inform Baba."

They made their way to her father. "Baba, my project launch party is the day after tomorrow, so I need to go to Delhi," Shivnya announced.

Ranveer congratulated her warmly, but a hint of confusion crept into his expression. "Congratulations, beta. But are both of you going?"

"Yes, Dad," Abhimanyu responded. Ranveer's gaze sharpened as he reminded, "You have a meeting with Singhania tomorrow. You've already rescheduled it once. It wouldn't be proper to do so again, and besides, the launch is the day after tomorrow."

Shivnya looked at Abhimanyu in disbelief, but he tried to explain, "But Dad..."

Shivnya cut him off, offering reassurance to Ranveer, "Baba is right. You should attend your meeting first, then join me later."

"No..." Abhimanyu began, but Shivnya interrupted again, "Baba is correct. I'll take a flight to Delhi directly."

Ranveer smirked, recognizing the familiar dynamic. Just like his father, Abhimanyu softened in front of his wife. As they returned to their room, Abhimanyu's stern voice broke the silence, "What was that?"

"What?" Shivnya replied nonchalantly, folding her clothes.

Abhimanyu approached from behind, enveloping her in his arms. He took the cloth from her hands and tossed it into the bag. "I'm coming with you," he declared leaning to her more

Shivnya looked up to face him, her eyes firm. "No, you aren't. Attend the meeting first, then join me."

"But..." Abhimanyu started, but Shivnya's gaze held him. "Abhi, your work is important." He turned her face and leaned to her neck snuggling

"Not more than you," he whispered against her skin, planting a tender kiss on her neck.

"It's just a day," Shivnya murmured, her voice faltering as Abhimanyu's lips and teeth teased her neck. She leaned into his strong hands, seeking support.
