I Am Spider-Man

Izuku and Naomi headed to the restaurant where they saw Naomi's father waiting for them.

"I hope we're not late." Izuku says as Naomi goes to hug her father.

"I just came here a few minutes ago." Ryan tells them. "Have a seat Izuku." He says as the three of them sit at a table.

"Have you ordered anything?" Naomi asks him.

"Just some drinks." Ryan answers.

"Drinks?" Naomi asks him.

"Yeah. I hope you both drink." Ryan tells them.

"I don't." Izuku tells him. "They don't have an affect on me because of that."

"Oh, well I hope you don't mind drinking for some company then." Ryan chuckles as a waiter brings three drinks to their table. "I got a dirty martini for you Naomi, I wasn't sure what Izuku preferred so I just got him a gin and tonic. His father liked that so I had hoped he had a similar taste."

"I am learning a lot about Dad since I came here." Izuku chuckles. "From what Dr. Gene would tell me, he came off as a whisky man rather than a Gin and Tonic man. But I guess everyone has layer." 

"There's a lot you don't know about Hisashi." Ryan says. "Man was a riot. And a natural flirt. With guys and girls."

"Before you start telling us about Izuku's father's sex life can we please change the topic?" Naomi interrupts.

"Right. I'll get to the point then." Ryan says. "Izuku, you've dated Naomi for quite some time now. And she's about to complete her masters in a few weeks. Now I know you've just started with your degree, but I'd like to know if this," He points to the two of them. "Is something that you see as temporary."

"Dad!" Naomi exclaims.

"Naomi, I understand that you might feel a bit offended by how I've phrased it, but please, I want to know what his plans are for the future. With his eventual descend into Heroics, if he plans on staying with you, I want to know if you'll be safe." Ryan tells her.

"I can understand your concern Sir." Izuku tells him. "And I'm not sure what challenges we'll be facing in the future, but I know that Naomi is the one I want by my side when I face them." Izuku says. "And I do plan on annoying her my whole life. And I can promise you this much. I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I've lost my mother to villains. And almost lost Naomi too. But I won't let that happen again. Even if that costs me my life." He answers. "We currently stay close to UA, close enough that heroes are never more than 10 minutes away. And according to my contract with UA, she will be protected. Always. Even if I'm no longer with her."

"You've thought this through haven't you?" Ryan asks him.

"Yes sir. After UA brought me in a few months ago, I spent a week just thinking about this. Thankfully for me, Nezu agreed to my conditions even though he knew he had the upper hand in our discussions." Izuku says. "And my only condition was her safety. I've lost dad and mom to the same group of villains. I will not let anything happen to Naomi. That is my promise as a man."

"You better keep your promise kid, because she is my only daughter." Ryan tells him. "And if I happen to hear that she is as much as scratched by a villain that was after you, you better believe that I will hunt you down and kill you." Ryan threatens, his hands turning green slowly.

"You won't have to hunt me down Sir." Izuku answers. "If something happens to her... I'll... I wouldn't know how I'd live by myself. So I'll come to you."

"You've got balls." Ryan tells him, the green color travelling up his skin and transforming into scales slowly and steadily. "You chose well Naomi." He says, calming down.
