Sevika rushes to Silco's office, she needs to catch her breath when she gets there.
"What? What happened?" Silco asks, clearly concerned about something that isn't himself
"The... the train, it never showed up... I ran back here" Sevika explains while still trying to catch her breath
Silco looks worried: "Get a group of men, the strongest we have, and go find it! Now!"
Sevika salutes him before running back out the door to find the train you were on

You see images of the metal scrap flying through the air, they dance in your mind in perfect synchronisation. You come too, seeing the barrel of a member of the orange-cloth gang member's gun. He's standing over you, you raise your hands but it doesn't matter, he raises the revolver to your face. As he pulls the trigger, Kara jumps out and shoves it out of the way, you leap and grab the gun, shooting the gang member.
You turn back to see Kara, still lying in the snow. You go over to her to make sure she's okay after the crash: "Kara, Kara? You okay? What do you think happe-" You are cut short by the feeling of blood under your knee as it soaks the white snow. You begin to panic as you search for a bullet hole, you move frantically until the wind blows her hair out from her right eye, revealing that the bullet had passed straight through her head.
You hold her close to you: "No, no not you. I can't... I can't LOSE YOU, KARA" You sob, burying your face into her hair as blood drips from her eye: "Please, stay, stay you have to. I can't" You feel the ground sink out from under you like the entire world has swallowed you whole. You feel the blood reach your fingertips as it soaks her shirt: "We were... we were meant to be together... we were meant to be TOGETHER!" You yell in a moment of pure anger and intolerance.
(Mentions of suicide in this paragraph)
As you grieve over the loss of your dear friend, you hear a familiar voice from behind: "y/n, y/n, listen to me" You turn and see the hallucinations of your mother return. They'd been so quiet since meeting Kara that you'd almost forgotten about them: "You need to take this, and use it to keep yourself safe" She stands over the revolver. She had said this to you the night she died, she gave you that dagger as a means to protect yourself when she wasn't there. You lay Kara on the ground and go to pick up the revolver. You feel as though the easiest option would be to put the barrel to your head but as you look at the revolver, tightly clutched in your hands, you see Powder's bracelet reflect the moonlight into your eyes. You won't kill yourself, you've got a promise to uphold.
You stand up and go looking for any other gang members, every time you do, you gun them down without a second thought. You feel your mother's voice start to dictate your actions until you can't even think in your voice.
You reach the front of the train, there you find two people: A gang member and one of the inmates. They were being escorted away, is this why they did this? For one person? They killed so many people, they killed Kara for ONE FUCKING PERSON. You yell out at them: "HEY!" They both turn around, and you get the gang member right between the eyes but as he falls, the inmate grabs the gang member's gun from their holster and shoots you right in the left side of your head. Your eye is decimated but it narrowly misses your brain. He looks at you with horror as you raise the gun to them and get them right in the nose.
You throw the gun to the ground before you climb up on the gang member's horses and ride into the snowstorm. You need to get back to Zaun, to family.
