Enterwined Fates

In Yeonjun's Office

As Soobin shook Yeonjun's hand, he couldn't help but notice the firm grip and the way Yeonjun's eyes seemed to bore into his soul. He felt a shiver run down his spine, but he quickly pushed the feeling aside.

"Please, have a seat," Yeonjun said, gesturing to the chair in front of his desk. "I must say, your resume is impressive. What makes you think you're the right fit for this position?"

Soobin took a deep breath and launched into a well-rehearsed speech about his skills and qualifications. Yeonjun listened intently, his eyes never leaving Soobin's face.

As Soobin spoke, Yeonjun couldn't help but notice the way his eyes sparkled when he talked about his passion for art, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. He felt a pang of...something, but he quickly suppressed it.

When Soobin finished speaking, Yeonjun leaned back in his chair and steepled his fingers together. "I think you'll do just fine here, Soobin," he said, a small smile playing on his lips. "Welcome to the Kim Company."

Soobin: omg sir thank you thank you so muchh *giggles and unknowingly hugs him tightly* 

"Yeonjun's eyes widen in surprise as Soobin hugs him, his arms stiffening for a moment before he awkwardly pats Soobin's back "Ah, it's...alright, Soobin. Just doing my job" He clears his throat, trying to maintain his professional demeanor "Please, just call me Yeonjun-ssi. We're not that formal here" He gently but firmly extricates himself from the hug, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiles.

Soobin just realises what he has done he quickly takes a step away from yeonjun and clears his throat "ahm.. y..yeah sir I'm sorry I was just carried away" he rubs his nape with a nervous laugh.

_Yeonjun's smile softens, and he waves his hand dismissively "Ah, no need to apologize, Soobin. It's just a hug." His eyes sparkle with amusement "Although, I must say, you're the first secretary I've ever had who's hugged me on the first day." He chuckles, his voice low and smooth "Please, don't be too nervous. I'm not that intimidating, I promise" He leans back in his chair, his eyes never leaving Soobin's face "Now, shall we get down to business? I have a lot of work for you to do"

Soobin just presses his lips out of embarrassment and nods "y..yes sir sure I would like that"

Yeonjun's eyes crinkle at the corners as he smiles, noticing the faint blush on Soobin's cheeks_ "Ah, good. I'll show you to your desk and introduce you to the rest of the team." _He stands up, towering over Soobin, and gestures to the door_ "After you, Soobin." _His voice is low and smooth, and he can't help but notice the way Soobin's eyes dart up to meet his, a faint spark of attraction flickering between them.

Soobin just waves his hand and agrees to walk behind yeonjun

_Yeonjun walks ahead, his long strides eating up the distance as he navigates the office corridors_ "Ah, we're a relatively small team, but we're a tight-knit group." _He gestures to various employees as they pass by, exchanging brief greetings and smiles_ "You'll get to know everyone soon enough."

_He stops in front of a sleek, modern desk, adorned with a state-of-the-art computer and a few neatly arranged files_ "This will be your workstation, Soobin". _He hands you a small folder containing your ID badge, security clearance, and other essential documents_ "Take some time to familiarize yourself with our systems and procedures. I'll be in my office if you need anything."

_As he turns to leave, his eyes meet yours, and for a fleeting moment, you sense a spark of something more, something that goes beyond a simple employer-employee relationship._

Soobin just nervously greets everyone while walking with yeonjun he was so thankful to work here he nods understanding everything which yeonjun tells "sure sir I will work hard for you" He lightly bows and looks up to see yeonjun directly looking into his eyes, he felt something.... something really weird.

He watches Yeonjun disappear into his office, the door closing softly behind him. He is left standing alone at his new workstation, feeling a mix of emotions: excitement for the new job, nervousness about meeting new people, and...something else. A faint, nagging sense that he can't quite explain._

_he shakes his head, trying to clear his mind. Focus on the task at hand, Soobin. You've got a lot to learn and a new job to excel in._

_he takes a deep breath, sit down at his desk, and begin to sift through the documents and files Yeonjun left for him. As he works  he couldn't  help but wonder what his new boss is like, beyond his polished exterior..._
