Only You [ON HOLD]

Time flies by and it was night time. All of their assignments are done. It was now their returning time. Shalini's house and Neel's house was quite far away from Ved's house. Reet and Shalini hugs each other.

Shalini says "Byee!!! See you in school tomorrow!!

Reet says , "Yess girl"

Suddenly Ved stops Shalini and said, "How will you go in this late night?"

Shalini looked at him and then her watch. She said in her mind.

It's really late now and the alley is also dark... I can't call dad cause he is not well.. what should I do now...

Ved said, "If you don't mind then Neil can drop you home... As his home is also on the way of your home"

Neil widen his eyes and looked at Ved.

Shalini looked at Neil and then Ved.

"No I can go by myself.... He doesn't have to drop me--"

"Oh come on Neil! Can't you drop a girl in her house??" Reet said with a little loud voice.

Neil coughs and said "Yeah I can... Shalini go and sit in the car.. I'm coming..."

Neil leaves.

Shalini stood their dumbstruck as it was the first time Neil called her by name... Her names sounded so good by his voice.. Shalini started day dreaming about it suddenly Reet nudged her.

"Come to earth Ms. Shalini.... Go there now otherwise Neil will scold you for being late"

Shalini quickly said them by and went to the direction of Aryaan's car.

Ved said , "There is something between them right!"

Reet replies " Yeah something so pure something really deep that couldn't be express through words... It can be only read by eyes"

Ved said "Yeahh... How do you know all these things??"

Reet said , "Huh!! You don't know me I'm love guru"

Ved laughs , "Yeah yeah lOvE guru"

Reet gives a smack to him in his back and runs.

Now with Neil and Shalini.

Shalini is standing in front of Neil's car. Her mind is full of various thoughts.

SHALINI'S P.O.V

Oh god I'm again travelling with Neil. This is the second time I'm traveling with him. Shalini calm down calm down you will do it.... Ugh ugh the first time I touched his hand and today what will happen..... What if we get close and ki--

"Shalini?"

Oh my god his dreamy voice.... I can listen to him all day.... Oh my God I don't wanna wake up from this dream---

"Shalini Arora?"

Shalini comes to reality and replied
"Yes yes yes huh"

Neil said, "Where were you? What are you thinking?"

Shalini in mind ,"As if I'm gonna tell you my inner thoughts about you!"

"Oh I was just thinking about tomorrow's class and all"

"Ok"

Shalini narrows her eyebrows.

"You should never reply by ok"

Neil asked, "And why?"

"Cause it feels like very rude yar how much time it will take to say a Okayyyy rather than ok"

"But for time management I say ok"

"But don't say now wards.. I find it very irritating"

"Okayyy Ma'am now get in to the car"

Shalini smiles big and said, "Sure Sir"

Neil's heart skips a beat as he saw Shalini's smiling face. His heart started to beat fast

NEIL'S P.O.V

Oh god why my heart started to beat so fast! What's happening to me.. these all are foreign feelings which I never felt in my life... Why I'm feeling this things for Shalini...... Ugh Neil she's your rival... She's your academic rival..... Let's just go home.... Oh I have another headache in my home probably she's dancing with loud music in her room or in living room... God I don't want to go home... I want to stay with Shali--- ehh what I'm saying??? Neil Verma calm down calm down.

"Neil...."

"Hmm?"

"You didn't tell driver Uncle to start the car... We are sitting here for 10 minutes straight.... Are you okayyy na? Neil?"

Neil widen his eyes and said , "Uncle start the car and I'm ok Shalini--"

Shalini made a poker face.

"I'm okayy okayyy"

Shalini smiles.

"Yes now good" pats his head.

Neil stop there. Shalini looked at him and realised she just patted his head.
Shalini puts her hand in her mouth.

"Oh I'm sorry......."

"It's okay no problem"

"Pkka na?"

[Sure na?]

"Yess Sacchi muchhi"

Shalini squealed , "Okayyyyyy"

NEIL'S P.O.V

I never let anyone to touch my hair.. and she just touch my hair and infact patted my head... Why I didn't get angry on her.... Why I'm following her words .... Why she has so much effect on me.....

Suddenly Neil's phone rings.

Danger calling...

Means Isha is calling him

"Ugh why she is calling me"

Shalini looks at him as soon he said "she"

"You can pick it up.... Maybe it's important....."

Neil looks at him with firm eyes.

"It's my life and I know who is important and who is not... Whose phone I'm gonna pick up and whose phone I'm not okayyyy"

Shalini become silent and went back to watch the window.

Neil in mind. "Shit!! I shouldn't yell at her... It was not her fault that Isha is a bug.... What? Now I'm feeling guilty because I scolded her... Ohh god.. I should say sorry to her... Her face was red....

Neil looks at Shalini and coughs.

Shalini didn't look at him.

He again coughs.

She didn't look at him.

"I hate this ignorance"

Neil took Shalini's hand and said

"I'm sorry Shalini I shouldn't have said those words to you ... You have no fault in this but still I yelled at you.... I'm sorry.... So sorry...."

Shalini was looking at him with mouth open expression....
