I'M UNDESERVING...

Walking inside the hanshi the first scene they saw was Jiang Cheng hugging Jingyi , both sleeping peacefully. It was rare to see the sandu shengshou this calm and peaceful, all were stuck in their place even Jiang Cheng didn't know what to feel , it was just so soothing. He was the first to snap out of the trance ,

" Umm...shall we get settled? Let zewujun sleep more . ", saying that he pulled the curtain of the partition room . Everyone had something to say but they didn't voiced it out for their own peace of mind. Soon everyone settled near the table , juniors one side , lan qiren and lan zhan one side , wei wuxian and Jiang Cheng one side while nie huaisang was alone at one side.Wei wuxian was first one to speak,

" So what did you find a-ling and sect leader nie ? ",

Nie huaisang nods towards Jin ling to start first ,

" Umm..since there are alot of different kinds scrolls in my sect I thought I could find something on this theory of soulmates. And I did find something ," saying this Jin ling opens a scroll over the table and continues ,

" This scroll right here says that soulmates are basically one soul divided into two body and connected with the holy red string of fates . But it also says this isn't something predestined, it's more like two people found each other and made their fates intertwined to be each other soulmates... it's not the heaven who choose them but they themselves. Basically if two people truly love each other , they becomes soulmate and get connected by red string which bonds them for rest of their rebirths ."

Just when Jin ling finished speaking, wei wuxian spoke ,

" This means me and lan zhan are soulmates as well! Isn't lan zhan ? ",

" Mn...soulmates.", lan zhan ears were the deepest shade of red while Jiang Cheng was blushing mess with existential crisis,

" We....soulmates? Red string..uhhh...bonded to rebirths!? ",

Jin ling slightly glance at sizhui and found older looking at him , just when their eyes met they both turned the other way . Lan qiren was observing the table for no particular reason and nie huaisang was enjoying the drama when Jiang Cheng spoke ,

" What about this soul swap? ",

" Umm there isn't any mention of soul swap in the scroll " , Jin ling said massaging the back of him neck. Jiang Cheng was dumbfounded,

" Then why the hell you brought this useless thing? Rumbling nonsense and wasting time!!! ",

Everything winced on hearing curses coming out of the great Zewujun's mouth ,

" Cause I was asked to bring anything related to the theory of soulmates and that's what I did ! Plus this gave us a better understanding of this thing , expand your knowledge rather than complaining...And it hurt hearing curses from zewu..",

" Let me tell how hurt actually feels like ! ", saying that he extended his hand across the table to pinch younger ear when wei wuxian pulls his hand back , Jin ling moves further towards Sizhui . He was used to Jiang Cheng anger and didn't take to it heart but looking at Zewujun's face he was scared for his dear life

" Calm down Jiang Cheng, Jin ling is right atleast think about this old man here ! His image of ideal daughter in law is going to be ruined by you ", he said pointing at lan qiren , who was coughs at the mention. Jiang Cheng gets embarassed,

" Can you stop sprouting nonsense out of nowhere!! Huaisang you speak , did you find the cure of this thing ? ", Huaisang who was biting his inside of cheeks to control himself from laughing get startled with this sudden call , he coughs to calm himself before speaking,
