The Rookie Season 7 Part 2

Lucy: You left your radio on me and Tim heard everything.

Grey: Lucy you do realise Austin could do literally anything. He would have a whole set of police gear, a squad car, and a radio to listen in to everything.

Lucy: I'm just so done with all the crap in the past year and I don't think Austin would dare do anything to me.

Grey: What makes you so sure?

Lucy: I broke his arm once when he tried to take my friend's phones. On accident. I mean I hurt him on accident not him stealing on accident. Then I smashed his xbox.

Angela: And I thought Tim was the feral one out of you two. I love this.

Tim: Remind me not to accidentally steal a phone.

Grey: Hope you remember you're a cop and shouldn't be breaking the law. So you want me to bring back Austin?

Lucy: Yeah.

Tim: Wouldn't this be really suspicious? If he is involved it would raise alarms he's being called back to the station heavily investigating the case and then partnered with a main part of the investigation?

Angela: That's true.

Lucy: He's a sloppy little dumbass. He won't know a thing.

Tim: I'm officially scared. Of you.

Lucy: Good.

Grey: I'll go make the calls before Tim makes Lucy mad.

Tim: Hey-

Angela: Good idea.

Ellie: Uhm if Alan was targeting Lucy who's to say he was targeting any of the other women who he stalked.

Nyla: You're worried about yourself aren't you?

Ellie: And everyone else but yeah.

Lucy: Do we have to re open every case related to that as well? We barely have enough people on the Shepard shit now we have Shaw Shit?

Tim: How sleep deprived are you?

Lucy: Yes.

Tim: I- That is a good point though, about the cases.

Grey: I think we just all have to start juggling cases. Well it helps now that we suspect the two people are connected. I could probably pull the extra officers from where Austin was sent that way it's not even odd if Austin is called back as well. Him having worked here and all.

Lucy: Yeah.

Tim: Lucy are you alright with this? Just double checking.

Lucy: Yeah.

Tim: Sure?

Lucy: Yes Tim.

Tim: Just making sure.

Angela: Someone's getting a bit protective.

Tim: Be quiet.

Grey: Right apparently they are sending over the officers now, including Shepard.

Lucy stumbles slightly catching herself on the desk.

Tim: Ok Uhm stop doing that Luce. What is going on with you.

Ellie: Seems like a trauma response. Sorry that was quite blunt.

Lucy: Wouldn't be surprised if it is. To Shepard.

Grey: Do you still want to do this? The plan with Shepard?

Lucy: Yeah I'll be ok.

Tim: Ok I don't want you stumbling unbalanced around Austin. Let's just forget you're a cop who goes into dangerous situations daily and remember that.

Lucy: If it happens again I'll back out.

Grey: I don't know Chen...

Lucy: I swear.

Angela: She's not going to let you say no.

Lucy: Mhm.

Tim looks over to Grey.

Grey: One thing happens even a paper cut I'll pull you.

Lucy: Fine.

Tim worriedly looks at Lucy.

Lucy: Tim I'll be ok.

Tim: I know. I still worry though.

Austin and the other officers walk in as Lucy stumbles back again into Tim looking pale.

Grey: Sit her down don't let Shepard talk to her.

Tim: Meyers get her some water

Angela pulls out a chair for her.

Tim: How are you feeling?

Lucy: Crap

Tim: I wish I could smack that idiot.

Angela: Ok I don't think that's helping.

Lucy: Yeah if he's getting smacked it's from me.
