Everyone still curious about what Oli said in our group chat. But Oli never told them who he is. I don't know. Maybe he was shocked. Not because i like a guy but because it's a guy that Syl likes.

FRIA stands for Fratres In Aeternitatem latin word for Brothers in eternity. Because we know, our frienship is for longlasting. No one can break it.

For the past few days. Naging tambayan ni Dos ang condo ko. Sometimes he slept here. Well, it's not a problem to me. I like it anyway. One time his curious as why his bodyguard agree so fast when his asking permission to go to my condo or going out with me ( with Oli and the others).

Well i guess they know that I will protect him.

In one of our conversation goes this way

"Hind ka ba nabobored, i mean kung wala ka sa Uni nandito ka sa condo ko" umiling ito.

"Nope. Why got bored 'cause can't hangout to your friends because Im here at your condo" well totoo din na hindi ako nakakasama sa kanila kasi hindi ko siya pwedeng iwan dito mag isa. I can't bring him along there too because it's too dangerous. I just heard from Axel that they are on high alerts.

"Nah, after all they also know that between hanging out and staying at my house, i prefer the later"

"Really, it's rare" ngumisi lang ako. Silence enveloped us. He opened the tv to watch some teleserye. We focus on watching when he suddenly talks.

"I started to feel that as if I were returning to my old self. I'm becoming more free. Hindi ko alam pero pag kasama kita i can be more myself. I can be more brave. It feel so good. That's why i love to hang out with you. So good to be your friend Evan" he smile genuinely. Na friend -zone pa nga. But I'm happy that he feels that. Be more of yourself. Don't abandon it. While you doing it. Don't worry I will make sure you're safe. I will ensure your security so that you do not need to fear the world.

One morning Chester and Eli showed up at my door.

"Napadaan kayo" i let my door open so they can enter. Binalikan ko ang laptop na sa sala and finished what I'm doing. It's a tracking app. I already finished it last year but i want to make an adjustment to it.

"It Syl's birthday, you will come right" napaangat ako ng tingin sa kanila. Right. It's her birthday. Matagal na rin simula ng huli ko siyang nakausap. A month ago? When i brought Alanie to the mall.

"I don't know if i can't make it. I'm busy"

Chester close my laptop. Eli sit beside me.

"It's her birthday Evan, baka akala mo hindi namin napapansin na kaya hindi ka sumasama sa gala ng barkada ay dahil kay Syl. Hindi namin alam ang nangyari sa inyong dalawa. But you two are already a grown adult. Bakit hindi niyo pag usapan huh" Chester. Naguumpisa na siyang dumaldal. Daig pa nito ang mga nanay sa bunganga. Isa pa, hindi ako nakakasama sa gala dahil hindi ko pwedeng iwan si Dos na mag-isa sa condo ko. It's became his safe place.

"Oliver said whatever happens kailan mong umattend. So kahit kaladkarin ka namin papunta sa party ni Syl ay gagawin namin." Nakapameywang pa ito. Napasandal ako sa upuan habang nakatingin sa kanya.

Am i ready to see her? She's a good friend. And I'm the bad one. Can i bear to hurt her?

"Just go Evan. Talk to each other. Clear the misunderstanding." Eli said with his famous calm voice.

"You think it's just a misunderstanding"

"Dunno. But it's good to talk to each other. Para hindi kayo naghuhulaang dalawa sa kung ano ba ang problema" Eli. Pero hindi naman ako nanghuhula. I know what the problem is.

"We'll wait for you here. So ass up and fix yourself" wala na kong nagawa after all Chester won't give back my laptop and Eli's calmness makes me uncomfortable. Gulo talaga ng ugali ni Eli. Goodluck talaga sa magiging jowa niya.

Chester was the one who drive. Like what Oliver said before, tamad talaga akong magdrive kaya madalas sa lahat ng gala ay sinusundo nila ko. But i love driving motorbike but if it's car i don't know i feel lazy to drive.

They said it's just a casual party. So we can wear anything we like. Kahit nga daw naka boxer lang okay lang daw gago talagang Chester. I wore my hoodie habang ang isang  earplug ay nakasapak sa kaliwang tenga ko.

As usual, it is a fullpack. She's friendly after all.

Sa table ng mga kaibigan namin kami dumiresto. Syl was not there, busy pa atang ientertain ang mga guest niya.

"Hala nabuhay ka" Ezra face was shocked pero halata mong nang aasar lang. Nginisian ko siya at hindi na nagsalita pa.

Mula sa bulsa ng hoodie ko ay mayroong maliit na box. It's a gift for Syl. Actually i remember her birthday 2 weeks ago so i bought a necklace with her name on it. She's still a friend after all kahit mukhang magiging magkaribal pa. Tsk.

We waited to Syl to come in our table. I'm playing with my drinks. Pinapaikot ikot ko lang to sa baso but not drinking it. I don't, i just don't feel like drinking.

The crowd got loud kaya napabaling ang tingin naming magkakaibigan doon.

Dos with his fitted shirt and pants enter with his cousin. Syl greeted them. Dos smile and give her a peck of kiss in her cheeks. Pumulupot ang kamay ni Syl sa braso ni Dos at iginaya ang mga ito nasa tingin ko ay papunta dito sa table namin.

"Di na ko magtataka kung bigla na lang silang bumulagta" napaigtad ako ng maramdaman ko ang hininga niya sa tenga ko. Masamang tingin ang binaling ko kay Oliver. Nakangisi ito na tila ba masaya na nakikita akong ganito.

"What did he do to make you interested in him" nagkibit balikat lang ako at umub-ob sa lamesa. I suddenly want to go to the Roscoe Range.
