"I would tell you that I love you tonight, but I know that I've for time on my side. Where you going? Why are you leaving so soon? Is there somewhere else thats better for you..."
"That isn't balanced" the engineer said, and I got up pressing the talk button so the artist could hear me in the booth.
"I need you to sing, like you are going to die tomorrow. Like this is the last song you will ever sing. You hear me" I said and the girl rolled her eyes but nodded her head. I played the instrumental over again, from the beginning.
"I would tell you that I love you tonight, but I know that I've for time on my side. Where you going? Why are you leaving so soon? "You okay boss man" Izzy asked me, and I blinked a little as I looked around the studio. Everyone was here but Ariana, yet again. She has been missing in action, so me being me I let her go and hired a new assistant, I didn't want to but it had to be done. After the photo shoot everything was going great. She was coming to work and everything but rumors went into the air again but this time it was of My bm Millie and I.
I remember going to her house the day of the rumors and let's just say things got heated. I didn't put my hands in her but she definitely put her hands on me, and I yelled at her out of frustration. I left and I drove back to her house trying to apologize and she wasn't there. (Story will be down below)
I walked into the booth, that the artist was in and got behind her, I placed my hand on her shoulders and before rub them.
"Go back in your mind to a year ago, when you had just found out your brother had been shot. How did it feel?" I asked her and she looked at me.
"How did it feel when you had to go and identify his body?" I said before walking out closing the door behind me.
I walked back into the main room giving the signal, to play the instrumental, hoping that this time. It was right.
"Is there somewhere else thats better for you..... what is love, if you're not here with me? What is love, if it's not guaranteed? What is love, if it just ups and leaves... What is love...? What is love, if you're not really sure? What is love" she sung and I smiled as I was satisfied with the sound.
I saw Izzy get up and walk my way.
"Aye I'm about to go to the club, I have business to take care of" he said and I nodded.
"Be safe lil nigga" I said and he nodded, we gave each other a hug and he walked out with Jayda along his side. They made a very nice couple. And I'm proud of Izzy, he has been more about business and less in the streets. I love that for him, he is finally understanding where I'm trying to get us. I want to be big in all areas of life. Kind of like an Empire.
