**Dear readers (Please don't ignore)**

First of all, I owe you all a heartfelt apology for the delay in this update. Life has been a bit overwhelming lately. I was down with a fever and recently had to undergo a minor surgery, which took a toll on my energy. On top of that, my mid-semester exams were going on, and juggling everything left me with little time to write.

I truly appreciate your patience and support during this time. Writing and sharing this story with you all brings me so much joy, and knowing that you're waiting for the next part means the world to me.

For this chapter, I’ve set a vote target of 20 votes. Each and every vote is like a hug of encouragement that motivates me to keep going despite the challenges. It’s your love and support that keeps this story alive and pushes me to give it my best.

Thank you so much for understanding and sticking with me through this journey. I hope you enjoy this chapter, and as always, your feedback, votes, and comments are my greatest inspiration!

Love,
Aadhya❤️

Now let's get back to the story…

The morning was heavy with unspoken words. Siya sat in the car, her hands clutching the edge of her seat as the vehicle made its way to the airport. Raghuveer sat beside her, pretending to scroll through his phone, though his eyes often darted toward her. Her silence unsettled him, but he couldn’t bring himself to say anything.

Siya, lost in her thoughts, stared out the window. Her mind was a swirl of memories—laughter with the children at the orphanage, her small yet comforting world that had now shattered. ‘ What have I done to deserve this? ’ she thought, biting her lip to stop the tears threatening to spill.

The car pulled into the airport’s private terminal. Raghuveer glanced at Siya, curious if she’d react to the sight of his private jet. But she merely followed his lead, her expression unreadable.

Inside the jet, Siya sat stiffly in her seat, gripping the armrest as though it were her lifeline. Raghuveer noticed the way her knuckles turned white and frowned.

“You’re scared of flying?” he asked, his tone softening despite himself.

Siya nodded reluctantly.

Raghuveer reached out instinctively, his hand brushing hers. Siya flinched at the unexpected touch, quickly pulling her hand back as she placed a hand over her chest to calm her erratic heartbeat.

Raghuveer's jaw tightened momentarily, but he forced himself to keep his tone steady. "I didn't mean to scare you," he added quietly

“Relax,” he said gently. “Flight jyada lamba nahi hai. Sab theek rahega.”

She didn’t reply, her eyes fixed on the clouds outside.

A few minutes later, Raghuveer noticed her struggling with the seatbelt. He leaned in to help. “Let me,” he said firmly.

“No… main kar lungi,” Siya stammered, moving further into her seat as if to create distance.

Ignoring her protests, Raghuveer secured the belt with practiced ease. His closeness made her shiver, and he noticed the way her breath quickened. As he pulled back, his guilt was evident. Why does she look so scared of me? he wondered, his chest tightening.
