"So you must be livin' it up there in LS, huh, sugar? I bet the sun is doing wonders for your porcelain skin."

I had been home for about a week and finally worked up the courage to call Teddy again to ask about what Trevor wanted. I didn't know what the hell he planned to do with the information he got but I wasn't about to tell him no. I pressed the receiver of my cell phone to my ear and sighed heavily, gazing out the window.

"It's winter, there's not too much sun anymore."

"Well winter out west definitely beats winter over here. We're damn near buried in snow up to our eyeballs, I'm sure you saw."

"It does, but I do miss wearing warm weather clothes from time to time. Listen, I'm sorry to waste your time, but did you get any info on that Abruzzi guy for me?"

I heard Teddy chuckle on the other end of the line.

"What's a little sugar plum like you wantin' with John Abruzzi anyway?"

"It's not me, necessarily...it's the guy I work for."

"This guy you work for have a name?"

I sighed and thought for a second. It wasn't like Teddy was some kind of anonymous informant for the police. Hell, he'd been locked up for a few years and was serving quite a hefty sentence. Trevor had always used his real name with his associates because he was damn good at going off the grid and staying off of it. I guessed that it wasn't any harm to give Teddy the info he wanted. We were all in this together, after all.

"Trevor...Trevor Philips is his name."

Teddy laughed and I could hear commotion coming from the other inmates who were no doubt waiting their turn for the phone.

"Get your damn hands back before I tattoo defining rot on your ass, boy!" He shouted into the distance.

"Trevor Philips, hm? The one who hit that bank back in Yankton about, oh...I don't know, nine years ago?"

"Yeah...that's the one." I sighed.

"He's become some big wig in LS now, huh?"

"Not exactly, not at all, actually. Listen, please just–I'll give you a call later okay? You two can talk then."

Teddy's voice softened and I could tell he was leaning in close so no one could hear him.

"Alright, pretty, I'll be waitin'. Stay outta trouble, now."

I seriously hoped that Trevor would cooperate and not be a completely unmanageable dickwad like he had the tendency to be at times. And I seriously hoped that he would keep me the hell out of whatever he was planning to do.

**Three days later**

Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and myself all sat at the kitchen island not saying a word. Trevor definitely had something on his mind that he wanted to say about this new thing he was planning, but didn't have the balls to say it until Michael spoke up.

"Alright, T, I'm not just gonna stand here and stare at my kitchen all day long. What the hell did you gather us here for?"

"Uh, I'm waiting on our damsel in distress here to call her little friend to see if he can get me in touch with Abruzzi, that's what I'm waiting for. What about you, Mikey, hm?"

"You could've just said you wanted me to call, I would've." I chimed in.

"So call then, poptart."

He reached for the phone but I pulled it away from him and out of his reach, shielding myself with Michael's body.
