Never Falling Apart

   It was the day of engagement. Aadhu woke up early and looked at her husband who was sleeping peacefully lying on his stomach with a cute pout and a messy hair. She admired him for sometime and gave a gentle forehead kiss and went to get ready. She went to restroom completed her chores and came out with a towel covering her wet hair dressed in blouse and inskirt.

  She stood before the mirror and started drying her hair and looked at her husband through the mirror who was admiring her for the whole time. She raised her eyebrow as what while he shook his head with a wink which made her blush. She pointed her index finger through the mirror in a threatening way while he gave her an air kiss. She turned to him and faked a glare to hide her blush while he gave a sheepish smile.

Aadhu giggled and started drapping the saree. She quickly got ready. She braided her hair and started wearing the gold accessories. She took the sindoor box after 5 years and she was about to keep it but stopped when she felt a hand keeping it. A drop of tear rolled down her eyes and she turned towards him. He smiled and kissed her eyes and her forehead. She smiled widely looking at him.
