I wake up to warm sunlight pouring through the window and the comforting smell of coffee. For a moment, I lay there, disoriented, the haze of sleep still hanging over me. Then, the memories of last night hit me all at once, and I can't help the grin that spreads across my face.
Reaching over to the other side of the bed, I find it empty. No Bucky. Just a neatly folded note resting on the pillow.

The smile on my face grows wider. Cheesing like a motherfucker doesn't even cover it. God, last night was incredible. And the way this man treats me... I swear, I could get used to this.
I climb out of bed and grab the steaming cup of coffee sitting on the nightstand. He must have made it for me before he left, which couldn't have been too long ago. The thought makes me miss him already, but before I can dwell on it, my phone buzzes on the nightstand.
