GUYS IM SO SORRY I HONESTLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS- ILL TRY TO UPDATE MORE 

(Shelly's POV)

<Hypothesis: I have the perfect wardrobe.... For digging up fossils..>

Now, i pride myself on not being to over-the-top when it comes to dressing, but something tells me i should consider investing in something other than brown dresses and dinosaur onesies. I already put on my outfit for today, but this was different! I was hanging out with Vee! I wanted to at least dress in something nice...

Eventually I just gave up, glancing at the clock and.... HOLY  ALAMOSAURUS, IM GOING TO BE LATE!! No time to dwell on my outfit now! I've got places to be!

I sped-walk through the hallway, i would run, but for some reason my muscles were super sore. It didn't worry me to much, im probably just having a growth spurt, or sore from having to run from the twisteds last night. Either way id probably be late. Gosh, hopefully Vee wont be too mad... she barely wanted to hang out in the first place, and me being late to the hang out that I made is... embarrassing, to say the least. The thought alone gave me a headache, which wasn't exactly saying much, considering I've had a headache since i woke up. 

I arrived at the little circle in the lobby, passing dandy's shop on the way. I could help but notice he looked at me in a rather suspicious way. 'what are you up to, Dandy..?' i thought to myself, but didn't have time to dwell on it. I spotted Vee sitting on one of the benches.

<Hypothesis: !!!>

Ok, maybe that wasn't a real  hypothesis, guilty as charged, but still! i was honestly expecting Vee to skip out on me.

(Vees POV)

I don't know why i even bothered to show up, I knew it would most likely just be a lesson on dinosaur facts i already knew, but something deep in my circuits told me to. I adjusted my bowtie a bit, because it was lopsided. Glancing at the clock on the screen, i noticed it was ten past when shelly was supposed to arrive. I should have been annoyed, but for whatever reason i felt concerned. Shelly is always on time.. Hopefully she's alright... 

I grimaced. After all, why should i care? Before i had the chance to ponder this, I spotted shelly. She gave a friendly wave, but i couldn't bring myself to wave back. Shelly sat right beside me, i braced myself for a random dinosaur fact. But to my surprise, shelly was quiet. "...You uh.. You alright, Shelly?" I asked half-heartedly. "Hm? oh, yeah! All good haha.. Like i said earlier, my head hurts.." She said with a sheepish voice. I furrowed my nonexistent brows. That was.. worrying, to say the least. Most likely no big deal, maybe she was just coming down with something. "Bummer." I wince. that sounded a lot more brutal than i intended. I tried to clear the air.

"So, we gonna do anything or just sit in silence?" I mentally facepalmed myself. How come everything I was saying sounded so cocky? Id have to work on that. Shelly seemed to think for a second. "how about... we just walk?" She asked coyly. Honestly, that wasn't the worst idea. A walk sounded decent. "sure, i guess." I said with a nod, trying to sound friendly but it sounded fake. I stood, shelly did as well. I tensed, shelly didn't notice. Am i losing my marbles, or is shelly taller  than she was this morning at my door? Not by much, maybe only an half an inch or so. Most probably wouldn't have noticed but my system could pick up even the smallest changes. It was.. unnatural. It should be biologically impossible to grow like that in only a handful of hours.

(Shelly's POV)

Vees company was rather nice, even if conversation wasn't exactly flowing.

<Hypothesis: words never said will never get a response.> 

I wondered what Vee was thinking. I wondered if i should speak up. The way Vee was looking at me undeniably had me spooked. Was she mad? Annoyed? Did i do something wrong? Speaking of spooked, for some reason today I've felt really.... well... I can only describe it as a feeling of dread. I felt fuzzy, i tried to chop it up to a migraine, but this was different somehow..

I glanced at vee, who was walking quietly beside me, the could hear the soft thud of her metal feet on the concrete. I didn't even realize we were outside until now. I took a deep breath in. The air felt nice, but it didn't help much. Vee looked at me, for a split second she actually looked... concerned? She crossed her arms, her tail flicked a bit, but I was unable to tell if it was out of anxiousness or annoyance.
