IN EVERY UNIVERSE [Oneshots]

It was raining hard but Faye didn't bother to stop driving her big bike until she loses balance and was thrown away. Her head and legs were hurting but she felt like her whole body was numb. She just let people to hover around her, someone called an ambulance but she did not bother.

Her ear was ringing due to the impact when she bumped her head on the hard floor.

"Miss! Can you hear me?" An old lady called her

Faye did not answer instead she raised her hand and signal her that she's fine

"Hang in there child, we'll send you to the hospital" the old lady said but Faye sat up like nothing happened

"There's no need for that ma'am. I am completely fine" Faye pretend to be fine and smiled genuinely and stood up and fixed herself

"Thank you" Faye said to the people and walk towards her bike and started moving

"Way to go stupid" she said to herself and drove to the place where she always went when everything seems to be heavy

She parked her bike on the side of the road and walks towards near the cliff and sat there.

"This is really stupid!" She shouted from from the top of her lungs

She finally cried, she lets the emotions to eat her up.

"All the things we've been through. All the things I have done for you I thought was enough for you to choose me but I'm wrong" she said while crying

"All I got was 'thank you for being my best friend'. How can I move on with my life when you're already gone" She clutch her chest painfully

"All this time I thought you loved me too. The signals you gave me, all the stares I would catch whenever we were talking about silly things. How? Tell me how Yoko" Faye cried, she cried her heart out

It was a dark place with no people to be seen. But you can see the city from above, it was a breathtaking view. It was supposed to be romantic but this person who happened to be there is having her heart broken into a million pieces

Faye stayed there and just cried until midnight. When the clock ticks at exactly 12, she stood up and fixed herself and started her engine to go home.

The lights are still open and there is someone watching TV in the living room. And to her her surprise, it was her best friend yoko.

"Why are you here?" Faye asked when she entered

"Finally you're here-" Yoko who was smiling when she heard her best friend's voice turned into a worried face when she saw Faye's face full of bruise from the accident

"What happened to you?!" Yoko stood up immediately and pulled her best friend on the couch

"Why are you here yoko? Aren't you supposed to get ready for your wedding tomorrow ? Why waste your time to be here?" Faye asked and closed her eyes and spread her arms on the backrest

"Faye" Yoko's voice is somewhat sad after hearing her best friend

"Go home yoko. You're fiance must be worried now" she said without opening her eyes

"Not until you tell me what happened"

"I'm not your girlfriend, Especially not your responsibility "

Yoko move back and stared at her. She was about to cry when Faye open her eyes

"Stop doing that. You're not a kid anymore. Grow up" Faye said and was about to stand up but yoko hug her waist
