'I'm so stupid. Why did I just blurt that out?' She thought to herself.
Harry looked like a gaping fish out of water.
"Wha-but" he let out.
"That's who I've seen in the pictures" he whispered.
"Pictures" she asked him titling her head.
"There's pictures of a newborn wrapped in a pink blanket in my parent's room. I saw it and asked but they got emotional and I never really asked again" he said quietly.
"I-they" she stumbled her words.
"Let's checkout?" He offered.
"I only needed to grab some flour for my mom" he told her sheepishly.
She looked at her cart and nodded as she seemed to mainly got everything she needed. They walked to checkout in an awkward silence.
"I'll go to this one. If you want you can go to the other one and we can meet at the door?" She offered.
"Sounds fine to me" he shrugged. They went their separate ways and she went to lane 7.
Finally, after what seems like forever,she made it to the front of the line. She looked up and her face dropped. She let out a mental groan.
"I-what are you doing here" she whispered furiously to the 'cashier'
"I'm keeping a eye on my sister" he replied back in a 'duh' voice.
"Triton- for the love of-" she let out a groan.
"Im making sure you haven't been turned into a plant overnight" he dryly said
"You-"
"I'm just checking, dear sister of mine" he hummed.
"And you're total has rang up to be.." he told her smirking as he tapped the sign that said the amount.
"1 cent" he told her nodding.
"I- you know what. Here's one cent" she told him rolling her eyes but handing him the 1 cent as she looked around.
"Hm this seems to be fake" he told her nodding.
"Triton-"
"Just messing around" he laughed and rang her up.
"You've been hanging out with Hermes too much" she told him leaving the line.
She saw Harry waiting for her and walked a little faster.
"I'm sorry for springing that on you" she told him grimacing.
"It's okay. I kinda understand" he replied back to her smiling.
"We can go to my place and talk?" She offered.
He nodded and agreed. She looked around and forgot she didn't have a ride since Apollo left.
Harry saw her looking around and came to the conclusion she walked.
"I can take you to your home if you want?" He told her.
