3rd Person Pov

The sun had just begun to set over Washington, D.C., casting long shadows across the White House lawn. Inside the Oval Office, a tense meeting was underway. The President of the United States, a middle-aged woman with sharp features and an air of authority, sat behind the Resolute Desk, her hands clasped tightly as she listened to the heated discussion among her advisors.

President Harper Malloy: Enough.

Her voice cut through the arguments like a blade. The room fell silent, save for the hum of the overhead lights. She leaned forward, her piercing gaze scanning the group of military generals, intelligence directors, and political strategists gathered before her.

President Harper Malloy: This isn’t just about one boy. This is about what he represents. Now, I need facts—not speculation.

General Adrian Walters: Madam President, the boy, Krison Mason, possesses an ability we've never encountered before. Summoning military-grade equipment out of thin air? It's a game-changer. If we could harness this—

President Malloy: Harness? Are you suggesting we weaponize a twelve-year-old child, General?

Her tone was icy, and the General shifted uncomfortably under her glare.

General Walters: Madam President, with all due respect, this isn’t about ethics—it’s about national security. If a child like him exists here, there’s no telling what might be out there. Other nations, rival powers—what if they already have their own Krison Masons? We’d be at a disadvantage.

The President turned her attention to Director Elaine Roberts, head of the CIA.

President Malloy: Director Roberts, what’s the situation on containment? How much does the public know?

Director Roberts: We’ve managed to suppress most of the footage from the school, but it’s too late to erase it all. Social media exploded within minutes of the incident. The news networks are spinning their own narratives, and conspiracy theorists are having a field day. We’ve flagged discussions about Krison across global platforms, but… it’s spreading faster than we can control.

---

President Malloy: Wonderful. And what about the boy himself? How is he holding up?

Agent Mark Steele, a liaison from Homeland Security, stepped forward.

Agent Steele: Madam President, Krison is… overwhelmed. He’s a child, after all. But he’s also remarkably composed given the circumstances. Our analysts believe he doesn’t fully understand the extent of his abilities yet, which could be dangerous—for him and for us. We’ve placed him in a secure facility, under constant observation. He’s undergoing light training to stabilize his powers, but it’s clear he’s scared.
