Author's POV:
Akshara sat in Kaira's room, nervously biting her nails. She asked Kaira to come, saying that she wanted to speak about something important with her. Now she is thinking of how to tell her about her and Abhi's decision, and mostly she is scared of her reaction. Kaira knocked on the door, interrupting Akshara's thoughts.
Akshara opened the door and gestured for Kaira to come inside. She locked the door, went, and sat beside Kaira. She took a deep breath and gathered some courage. Kaira was observing her little sister and thought it was something serious.
Akshara cleared her throat and mumbled, "Didu?"
"Hmm," said Kaira, looking keenly at Akshara.
"I want to say something," said Akshara, fidgeting with her dupatta.
Kaira gently pressed Akshara's hand and said, "What is it, Betu? Why are you getting nervous? First, calm down."
Akshara felt a little bit at ease, listening to Kaira's gentle tone.
"I and Abhi have decided something," said Akshara.
Kaira gestured for her to continue.
"We will be moving out of the Birla Mansion after our wedding," said Akshara.
"Okay! But why do I think that it's not the main issue? Hmm," said Kaira.
Akshara gulped and said, "Abhi and I are getting married today in Mahadev's temple."
Kaira looked at Akshara wide-eyed and shouted, "What?"
Akshara closed her eyes in fear, listening to her shout. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at her sister, who was already looking at her for an explanation.
"I," stammered Akshara.
She wasn't this afraid when she told her sister about her feelings for Abhimanyu.
"Akshi, calm down, betu, and then tell me why you both have taken this decision," said Kaira, holding Akshara's hand.
Akshara sighed and said, "Since our Tilak, one thing or the has been happening. First, that misunderstanding, then Ms. Jindal's fainting drama, and then the drama on the second Tilak. Even today, Aarohi, Ms. Jindal, and her friend have made a scene. Both of us are exhausted with all of this, Didu. So, Abhi and I have decided to get married in the temple peacefully, away from the chaos."
Kaira listened to her sister carefully, without interrupting her. She knew how happy her little sister was when Abhimanyu proposed to her for marriage. They have been planning this for the past year, but now, looking at the drama taking place, they were downhearted.
"So, should I tell the family to cancel the wedding that we have planned?" asked Kaira.
"No! We will get married in Jaipur in front of our families and our close ones, but before that we will marry in the temple today. We won't be coming with you guys to Jaipur. So, you have to manage our family," said Akshara.
"Only both of you will go to the temple and marry?" asked Kaira.
"Umm! Amish Bhaiyya and Neil will be coming with us," said Akshara.
Kaira sighed and asked, "Are you sure about this, Akshi?"
Akshara looked at her sister and said, "Yes, Didu!"
"Fine then," said Kaira, making Akshara squeal.
Kaira shook her head in disbelief, looking at her sister's antics.
