Chapter One\I'll Remember

Four months have passed since the other side collapsed, taking Damon and Bonnie along with it. Due to the Travels anti magic spell, none of the vampires were able to return to their hometown. Summer was filled with grief, everyone lived their separate lives, trying to adjust their lives without Damon and Bonnie. It was a long summer for everyone. The longer Caroline went without Bonnie, the more she is beginning to fall part. Caroline is trying her best to find a way to bring Bonnie and Damon back, she feels alone with her loss.

After coming back from the dead, Alaric ended up renting an apartment at Whitemore. Alaric has to adjust to his new life as an Original Vampire thanks to Esther Mikaelson, he became a professor at Whitemore college. Matt Donavan and Jeramy Gilbert are the only ones who live in Mystic Falls at the Lockwood Mansion. Matt is taking classes to protect the town, where Jeramy the former hunter grieved the loss of Bonnie his girlfriend. Tyler is no longer a Hybrid, being brought back from the other side, human with the werewolf gene. The gene lies dormant until the carrier takes a human life. He has magnified anger issues because of the curse, Matt and Caroline are trying to make sure he won't activate his curse again.

Caroline dropped out of Witmore, found an apartment just outside of Mystic Falls. Shes spends time with her mother. Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes. Caroline is desperate to lift the anti-magic spell, and with Alaric's help maybe she can find away.

Elena spent most of her time grieving her boyfriend, Damon, she is taking classes at Whitemore collage to study to be a doctor.

After Damon died, Stefan disappeared just after the other side collapsed. Caroline lost contact with Stefan.

"Elena?" Caroline said banging on their door. "Can I come in?"

"Yes", Said Elena as she wiped her tears away. "Care. Hey, what's up?" Elena said. Acting like she had not just been crying.

Caroline walks into the dorm.

"You have not left this room or your bed in the last few days. I came to check on you." Caroline said. Worried about her, When she's not at school. She spends her days crying in her room.

"Are you ok Lena?" Caroline asks her best friend.

"Eventually". Elena answers with a sad smile. Glad Caroline came to check on her.

"Promise?" Caroline asked.

"Promise" Elena told her truthfully.

"Well, Okay." Caroline Said. Hugging her Freind

Elena hugs her back. "Don't you have to meet up with Your mom?' Elena said.

Caroline looking at the clock. "Shit". She says, "I'm going to be late" Caroline says before rushing to leave. Caroline says over her shoulder. "Things will get better Lena I promise, call if you need anything."

Caroline had just made it in time. Her mother Liz has set up a picnic in the grass outside the border of her child home she could no longer get into. Running up to her mother Caroline says, "Sorry I'm late. I was with Elena".

"Oh". exclaimed Liz. "How is she doing after Damon died?" Liz asks.

"Fine", Caroline said. "At least I hope so". she says fondly.

Caroline is looking around worried, which her mother notices.

"What else is wrong, Kiddo?" Liz asks softly to her daughter.

"Is this about Stefan?" Liz asks knowingly.

Caroline looks up surprised at her mother. She smiles at Caroline.
