The family stood there numb, as the words written in the letter settled in.
But something stirred in Charu today. No! no! no! not anymore. She can't stay silent today. Not after being given a reality check so hard both to either accept or reject. Silently forwarding herself to the fallen letter, she picked it up. Taking a look at it, a fresh batch of tears made their way down her cheek.
Placing it on the table in front of her, she started clapping. Her claps echoed in the silent mansion, so loud and dripping with sarcasm. The family turned their gazes to her. A dark current passed beneath her composed form she presented.
"Amazing, I thought only my family is full of hypocrites but guys are even greater than us in being...... Hypocrites." She said facing towards Manish, Swarna and Surekha. Manish found it hard to respond. Only one question lingered in his mind.
How come Abhira knew all this? Abhir and Ruhi couldn't be the one to tell her all this because even they had a very limited information about them.
So he found himself turning to Swarna and Surekha. Swarna nodded in no, upon meeting his eyes; silently replying to his unasked question. Both of them looked at Surekha, trying to collect something.
"Abhira came to me the night of the revelation. The same night of the kidnapping incident. She compelled me to reveal everything, giving me swear of my children. She had apparently heard you and Abhir arguing about Akshu. And with no other option left, I had to tell her everything." she replied in a voice that was barely audible.
Manish muttered a series of silent curses inwardly while the entire room was left shocked at another revelation. "You have a great history, Manish G." the words left Kaveri mouth instantly even before she could stop them.

"And I have a great family Nani sa." Charu seethed in a barely controllable anger. "Like a couple who can just disown someone whom they called their daughter, because of what? A mere cabin?" her tone dramatic.
"You both know this from Mama sa, mami sa that in the cabin incident there wasn't Bhabhi's fault. She didn't even know that the cabin was prepared for you, Mama sa. Had she found out this, I am dead sure that she would have never accepted that damned cabin. But what did you do? You just blamed her for someone else's mistake?
She wanted to return that cabin to you when she found out the truth, but no. For you, your ego comes first; it's most important even important than your relations. She had always loved and respected both of you, equally as her parents. But what did you do? You submitted your resignation to her in such a big gathering. You made a mockery of her love, respect and self-respect.
Even when this did not satisfied you then you blamed her for the attack on Nani Sa? Had that attacker that day had actually attacked Bhabhi then you all would have been in peace, Right? You all would have been happiest right?" she said in a tone that was laced with furry. Her tears were flowing nonstop.
