𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄, Theo stayed.
He sensed something was wrong - rather some things. Of course he also saw my marred fist. And yet, I didn't plan on telling him anything, just like he didn't plan on asking.
Right now it was just the two of us, sitting on my bed - only in underwear, each of us holding a joint in our hand.
I liked this. I liked what we had, in this broken moment, right now.
Still, it was wrong.
Soaked in thoughts I took a few quick, yet deep drags as I leaned back, against the wall.
"Do you sometimes long to disappear?" I blurted, not overthinking what I just asked. I'll never learn. But maybe I don't have to.
Theo tilted his head down to eye me. His expression indifferent, yet complimented by his smug grin. "All the time, starlet"
"Simply leaving.. That's the dream" he chuckled lowly. 'Leaving'? That's not quite what I meant.
Nonetheless I didn't say another word.
The silence between us grew comfortable, making me tired. Not willingly, my head slowly dropped - landing on Theo's shoulder.
I wanted to lean away, yet my body was too weak and I soon dozed off.

𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍, Theo had already left. I felt a weird warmth rush over my body as I noticed I was tugged into my blanket and my blinds were down - Theo's doings.
I pushed my blanket off before walking over to my dresser. This saturday I was going to visit the wild shelter again, finally - and Blaise was coming with me.
After putting some comfy clothes on I quickly walked back to my nightstand to grab my phone when I noticed a letter laying next to it.

I pocketed my phone while putting my shoes on, then I picked the letter up.
