From battling a group of terminals, to being send to a heavenly plane, to veing send to a world where gods walk the earth with monsters and people who can control elements. Things only seem to get more interesting for Kumagawa Misogi.
It was quite an adventure in itself, looking for thia mysterious blond Traveller who happened to be neither Lumine nor Aether. From the recountings they gathered, he seemed to have left a certain impression on the people of Mondstadt he happened to interact with.
Especially on Mondstadt's very own blacksmith. Apparently this nlond has asked for resources that the blacksmith had never even heard of.
All of their search had lead them to Angel's Share. Apparently, their mystery blond liked a good drink as well.
Charles:What will it be? grape juice or apple cider?
Lumine:Another day, another lack of alcoholic options...
Now, Lumine might feel in the need of a drink now and then. However, she wasn't gonna advocate for stealing drinks.
So when she saw hiw Kumagawa eyed the bottles behind Charles she firmly grasped her partner's hand. And his pout, while cute, isn't gonna make her chamge her mind.
Paimon:Hey Charles, have you seen a blond stranger who wears an eyepatch around here by any chance?
Charles:That I have. He comes here every night. Just to drink, though. Doesn't order anything else.
Kumagawa:[Well, Angel's Share is one of the greatest places in Mondstadt for that, right? I don't think coming for a drink is that strange. Some bards do come for that and forget to pay.]
Charles:That's true. Speaking of which, I wonder where's that little fella. Haven't seen him around in a while...Anyway, about the stranger. He even sometimes mixes his own drinks after he orders them. I don't know anything else about him, but from his selections and mixes, I'd say that he's quite the connoisseur.
Paimon:And what's Master Diluc's opinion?
Charles:Why, I just gave it to you, "quite the connoisseur."
Paimon:Investigating everything as always...Guess that's Diluc for you...
Charles:If you're looking for that gentleman, he ordered some new bottle of wine in advance yesterday, so he should be here today, too. There's too many raucous patrons on the first floor, so if you want to wait, best to go to the second.
Kumagawa:[Well, guess we'll have to wait.]
Lumine:Yeah, let's go to the second floor.
Kumagawa:[We always wait there, don't we? Well, I guess it has a certain flair to it.]
Kumagawa trails behind Lumine as Paimon floats between them. Of course, as always, Kumagawa still had something mote to say.
Kumagawa:[You know, we'd have something to drink in the meantime if you...]
Lumine:No.
Kumagawa let put a sigh, but said nothing else. This has become a routine, but...It's not that bad.
Has he been lonely? Kumagawa is not sure, he is used to ignorimg his own emotions quite often.
But, perhaps he was. Hakoniwa was a place where even someone like him could feel at home, it hasn't fekt like that since ge graduated.
He went from place to place, but that's all that it was. Unimportant places he happened to pass by.
But, things have become very homely since he began this adventure with Lumine. He made so much bad choices through his life, but this one wasn't one of them.
Kumagawa paused his train of thoughts. He begins hearing a sound...Oh, Lumine's snapping her fingers next to his ear.
Lumine:Kumagawa! Kumagawa!
Paimon:Are you okay?
Kumagawa:[Ah, just reminniscing a bit...What did I miss?]
Lumine:He's here.
Kumagawa looked towards the table Lumine was pointimg at. The man standing alobe there did indeed fit the description they were given.
A man with blond hair and a discovered bright blue eye, the other being covered by a dark blue eyepatch. His name was Dainsleif.

Kumagawa:[Yeah, that's definetly our pirate.]
Paimon:He's not a pirate!
Kumagawa:[How convenient...]
Paimon:You...Ugh!
Kumagawa had already came back to his senses. After all, bullying Paimon was always fun and invigorating.
The three walked over his table, although Dainsleif hasn't tirned his head to them yet. Lumine coughed, placing her hand on her hips as she introduced herself.
Lumine:How do you do? I'm an Honorary Knight of Favonius...
Still nothing. Strange, she'd thought that would at least put this guy on alert.
Paimon:Wow, he's got no intention of paying us any mind, huh...
Lumine:So, uh, I'm a traveler...
Even stranger is that actually got his attention. Does this guy have some sort of kinship with other Travellers?
Dainsleif:A traveler...You say? Hmph. Why are you traveling?
Lumine:I'm looking for my lost relative.
Dainsleif:...Well, that's as good a reason as any...Sit down over there, then.
As they sat down Kumagawa let out a hum while looking at Dainsleif. This guy had a certain look in that one visible eye of his...Does he know Aether?
Paimon:So...Guess we've broken the ice...What a weird guy.
Dainsleif:Hmm. That little one beside you...
Lumine:Emergency food.
Paimon:That's not true, and you know it!
Kumagawa:[That's right. Paimon-chan isn't emergency food...Unfortunately, she has proven herself capable of holding on stromgly when she's about to be boiled.]
Paimon:Now you're just being a bully!
Kumagawa laughed fully at her reply. Ah, this was neber get old.
Oh? It seems Dainsleif is regarding him now, and quite warily too.
Dainsleif:Forgive me, I haven't asked for your name yet.
Kumagawa:[Ahaha, no worries! I'm used to being ignored! My name is Kumagawa Misogi!]
Dainsleif:Kumagawa Misogi...Are you from Inazuma?
Kumagawa:[You'd be surprised how many people ask me that...But no.]
It was a fair assumption. From the informations he gathered, Inazuma was very much like the Feudal Japan.
And although Kumagawa was born in the modern period, traditions and names remained the same. That's why so many people of this world mistake him to be Inazumian.
Lumine:Yeah, so this is Kumagawa. He's a bit weird, but you get used to it. He's my partner.
Dainsleif:It's indeed a good thing to have someone accompany you on your travels. My name's Dainsleif. I suppose you have some business with me?
Kumagawa:[Nice to meet you, Dainsleif-chan. I'm sure our meeting will be very informative.]
