After Cybertron was ravaged by the war between the autobots & decepticons, the two factions raced for the wormhole that led to a new world created by Shockwave. Both factions having now crash landed on the planet earth that to in the country of Japa...
Using the tow cables as a bridge, several decepticons both flyers and ground variants used it to enter the ark and attack the autobots.
The autobots fought back, but it was a very desperate battle to get to the wormhole and escape certain doom for them.
For the decepticons, it was their one last shot to end the autobots and their leader for good which would allow them to finally become the one and only true leaders of Cybertron with no opposition to stop them.
The fight raged on for several minutes as the scene then shifts to show Bumblebee climbing upward to avoid the spinning gears beneath him.
He climbs on and sees Optimus Prime & Megatron battling each other but megatron seemed to be winning with Optimus being weakened.
This gave megatron the opportunity to pull off a energon turret next to him and point it at Optimus.
" This ought to do the job.", Megatron said feeling that victory was now in his hands not noticing the yellow scout watching them.

" Even if you destroy me Megatron...others will rise up to defeat your tyranny." , Optimus said with a determined and brave tone to Megatron not fearing his imminent demise.
Megatron not caring at all about it simply yells, " Then I'll just have to destroy you all !!!"
Then he fired the weapon, but bumblebee jumped right in front of the shot as he took the hit directly onto the chest, and the force of the shot send him flying towards Optimus and colliding against him knocking them both down to the floor.
" Bumblebee !", Optimus yelled in shock as he got up and holds bumblebee on his arm who he assumed is dead or in cybertronian terms "offline" with the view of Cybertron and the sun rising behind him.

" What a waste of energon !", Megatron yells in disappointment and throws the weapon away.
"......After eons of conflict, I finally see the truth of your words, Megatron."
