After Cybertron was ravaged by the war between the autobots & decepticons, the two factions raced for the wormhole that led to a new world created by Shockwave. Both factions having now crash landed on the planet earth that to in the country of Japa...
Jazz exited out of the mountain where the ark was buried in, he immediately gets blinded by the bright light of the sun.
" Jeez ! Haven't seen bright light in many cycles since being in stasis."
He adjusted his optics and regained his vision as he was greeted by the lush green trees that surrounded the mountain and stood in front of a cliff to see a vast forest around the area.
It was beautiful, calm and peaceful for the autobot. A peace that he hadn't seen in a long time.....since before the cybertron wars.
Nothing destroyed. Nothing is burning. No dead bots and cons in the streets. Just a peaceful green landscape.
" By primus. This planet is beautiful.", Jazz thought taking in the beauty of earth as he observed the landscape.
Then he spots a road that leads right out of mount takao and perhaps leading towards a city. That would be his best bet if he needs to use the device on a network tower.
" A decent road to get my wheels spinning again.", Jazz said feeling the old days of just driving around the streets in Cybertron before the war coming back to his head.
Jazz then spotted a tow truck driving down the road and spots it dragging something behind it. It was a Pontiac solstice car. (Same one from Transformers 2007 movie)
" Now that might get me to blend in better on this planet."
Then Jazz quickly scans the Pontiac and transforms into the car itself.

Jazz then revs up his engines and with full speed drives off the cliff, landing on the road successfully and continued onward towards the nearest city he can find.
— Okinawa, Japan, Morning time —
Sound wave was walking through forests of Okinawa and then comes to a stop in front of a hill, spotting a military base that seemed to have both American and Japanese personnel working together.
To his luck though, the base had a massive relay network tower with which he can get a full idea on what planet he and his decepticon brethren were on right now and perhaps other secrets.
