As she rips open the package, he stops in the centre of the park. She tuts. " Who the fuck is this guy?" She questions under her breath, taking a bite of the bread.
Her scowl stays as he tips the bag of bread upside down, letting it all fall on the floor. Men start to flock towards it, but he shoos them away. This guy is really starting to piss her off.
Chin-Hwa, as well as everyone else, is left flabbergasted as he starts jumping on all the packaged food, stomping on it, destroying it. Shouting as he does it.
" Hey, what the fuck is your problem?" She bites, standing up. He doesn't answer, continuing to obliterate the bread beneath his feet. " Hey, are you having a psychotic break or something? There's people that could eat that, you fucking dick!"
He finally stops, brushing his hair back and ignoring her words as he picks up his briefcase, and begins walking away.
" What the fuck was that?" She guffaws, sitting back down and taking a harsh bite of her bread, shaking her head.
______
" Chin-Hwa? May I come in?" The voice of her personal maid wafts through the door of the 10 year olds bedroom.
" Yes, Mrs. Kim." She responds, and the kind lady comes in, a sympathetic smile on her face.
Chin-Hwa already knows why shes here." I'm sorry but your father has told me he won't make it today for your birthday, but he sends his love." Chin-Hwa almost scoffs. Sure he does.
" Okay, thank you for telling me." She nods, and Mrs. Kim smiles, shutting the door behind her. Her eyes well up, but she refuses to cry, continuing to draw at her desk.

" He won't be here for Christmas, Chin-Hwa, he's stuck at work, he says he's sorry."

" Leave before I really lose my temper,
Chin-Hwa." The 20 year old watches as her father stands behind his home bar and pours himself a glass of whiskey." Dad, please, I wouldn't ask if I wasn't desperate-"
"-And I told you I can't afford it. I've lost everything. This place, gone. Your penthouse, gone. Credit cards? Say bye the those."
" Please! You must have something!" The girl is tearing up now, glancing down at her body before looking back up.
" Even if I did, I wouldn't help you! You're a disgrace of a child, Chin-Hwa. Now go. I don't want you here. I've shut down what's left of the credit cards, figure it out yourself." Chin-Hwa sobs as she leaves the building, feeling utterly lost.
————
" You there, sweet cheeks?" Chin-Hwa snaps her head to the man beside her, face flushing slightly as she realises she had been daydreaming.
" Mhm, just fine." She responds, straightening her face back to its previous seductive expression. This wasn't as easy as it usually was. This guy was extremely...full on.
" So, are we gonna cut the crap and take this somewhere else?" He wraps a tight arm around her waist, and Chin-Hwa exhales slowly, suprised and uncomfortable. " We both know what we're looking for."
She tries to pull away, but his grip tightens. " Um, I'm sorry, I think there's been a misunderstanding-" She pushes harder to get away, but he just pulls her back.
" Come on, don't get coy now, sweet thing. We can have plenty of fun!" He exclaims, his other hand moving to cup her breast.
" Woah, woah, off." She tries to pull his hand anyway. He grips her until it hurts. " Get the fuck off! You're hurting me-"
He slaps his palm over her mouth. In a fit of rage, she uses all her might and bites his palm as hard as she possibly can. When she starts to taste blood, she pushes him off and rushes out of the stupid nightclub, her breathing quick.
Her hands shake as she reaches into her bag and pulls out the bottle of opioids, dumping four out into her hand and swallowing them dry, beginning to quickly walk, with no destination, really.
Nausea sits heavy in her stomach as she finds herself on a platform at the subway, sitting down on a bench, paying no mind to the woman who looks at her outfit in disgust and stands, moving to a different platform.
Shivers rack her body as her pupils dilate slightly, and her figure begins to feel lighter as her vision lands on the empty tracks in front of her, blocked off by sliding doors.
Chin-Hwa almost curses those stupid suicide prevention doors, because, frankly, right now she'd really like to just throw herself onto the tracks and end it all. It's not like anyone would miss her.
Suicide was constantly on her mind. What did she have to live for, really? No family, no home, no friends, no career. She's nothing but a thieving whore-
" Miss?" She's pulled out of her thoughts by a voice, and she looks over to see the man she'd seen earlier that day, the guy with the bread and the lottery tickets. She can see the recognition in his face.
" Oh, look, it's the neighbourhood psycho." She scoffs, sniffing and quickly wiping away the tears she hadn't realised were running down her cheeks.
He chuckles slightly, sitting on the bench beside her, ignoring the incredulous look she sends him as he opens his briefcase, pulling out a red piece of cardboard, and a blue piece.
Her brows furrow.
" Would you like to play a game?"
