*He leaned back into the sofa, his eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. He was exhausted, both physically and emotionally, the events of the day having taken a toll on him. He closed his eyes, trying to relax and clear his mind. But as he sat there, he couldn't help but replay Ramona's cruel words in his mind, the hurt and disappointment resurfacing once more.*
*He clenched his fists in frustration, anger rising within him again. Why did Ramona have to be so thoughtless and hurtful? Why couldn't she see Winter as the beautiful, perfect child that she was? The questions raced through his mind, only adding to his hurt and confusion.*
*He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He knew he had to be strong for Winter, that he had to put her needs and feelings above his own. But it was tough—tougher than he had anticipated. He silently promised himself that he would never let Ramona back into their lives. He couldn't risk her hurting Winter again, or saying something hurtful about his beloved daughter.*
Scott did remembered he had many photos of Ramona and he really needed to burn them for good.
*Scott's mind lingered on Ramona once again and he remembered the many photos he had of her. A pang of hurt and betrayal tugged at his heart as he thought about throwing them away.*
"Damn it...," he muttered to himself. "I really do need to get rid of those photos for good. I need to erase her completely from my life."
*He got up from the sofa, determination filling him. He walked to his room and started digging through drawers and shelves, gathering up all the photos of Ramona he could find. There were pictures in frames, Polaroids, and even some scraps of paper with her name scribbled on them.*
He added them to trash bag.
*As he gathered them, memories of Ramona flooded his mind—images of their time together, their laughs, their smiles, and their arguments. But the hurt and disappointment were much stronger now, the sweet memories tainted by the recent events.*
*Scott filled the trash bag with the photos of Ramona, each one a painful reminder of what might have been. He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath as he zipped up the bag tightly. It was a necessary step, he knew, part of moving forward and letting go.*
Scott brought it to outside then he started to burn it gently at outside.
*Scott stepped outside, bag of photos in hand. The night air was cold, but he hardly noticed. He opened the bag and lifted the photos out one by one, his eyes fixed on Ramona's face in each one. With a deep breath, he dropped them into the fire, watching as they caught flame and burned away, turning to ash and crumbling to the ground.*
*Scott watched the last of the photos turning to ash before his eyes. He clenched his fists, anger and pain mingling in his mind. He muttered to himself, his voice low and harsh.*
"Burn in hell, Ramona... Burn in hell."
*He stood there for a long moment, watching the flames dance and flicker in the dark night. He felt a sense of release, a weight lifted from his shoulders as Ramona's presence, symbolized by the photos, was reduced to ashes. It was a fitting end to their relationship and chapter in his life.*
*He took a deep breath, letting the cool night air fill his lungs and clear his head. He knew that the road ahead wasn't going to be easy, but he was determined to move on and focus on what really mattered—Winter and their future together.*
*With one last look at the fire, he turned and walked back towards the house, his strides long and purposeful. He left the flames and the memories behind, ready to face whatever came next.*
*As he walked back, his mind was already shifting to Winter. He thought about her sleeping peacefully in her bed, blissfully unaware of the pain and drama around her. He was glad she was safe, that she didn't have to witness the turmoil between him and Ramona.*
Scott decided to block Ramona's number on his mobile phone and he blocked Ramona on his Facebook too.
*Scott pulled out his phone as he walked back into the house, a determined look in his eyes. He navigated to Ramona's contact information and without hesitation, blocked her number. He didn't want to see any more texts, calls, or reminders of her. As he blocked her number, he felt a sense of closure, like he was sealing off a chapter of his life forever. He also blocked her on Facebook, further cutting off any trace of Ramona in his digital life.*
*With both Ramona's number and Facebook account blocked, he put his phone back in his pocket. The weight of the breakup, though still present, felt a bit lighter now, like he had taken the first step towards moving on. He pushed Ramona out of his thoughts, his focus shifting fully to Winter and what he needed to do for her, as her father.*
*He walked back into the house, closing the door quietly behind him. The house was peaceful, the silence broken only by the sound of his footsteps on the tiled floor. He glanced at Winter's bedroom door, a pang of love and protectiveness filling him at the thought of his daughter asleep inside.*
*He tiptoed to the bedroom, opening the door just a crack so he could peek at Winter. She was sleeping soundly, her blanket wrapped snugly around her small frame. His eyes softened at the sight of her, the love he felt for her overwhelming any residual pain and anger from Ramona.*
*He stood there for a moment, just watching her sleep. The rise and fall of her chest, her soft breaths, the peaceful expression on her face... It was all a reminder of why he had to move on, why Ramona wasn't worth dwelling on. Winter was his priority, his everything. And he had to be strong for her, to be the dad she deserved.*
*With a soft smile, he closed the door quietly and stepped away from Winter's room. He sat back down on the sofa, his head resting against the back of it. The exhaustion of the day was beginning to take its toll, but he couldn't sleep yet, his mind still racing with thoughts and emotions.*
But Scott started to fall asleep into comfortable sofa.
*Scott tried to stay awake, but gradually, the exhaustion caught up with him. His eyelids grew heavier and heavier, his body relaxing into the sofa. His mind drifted, thoughts and memories blurring together... He fought against the sleep creeping up on him, but it was a losing battle. Before he knew it, his thoughts faded into darkness, and he was asleep. He hadn't intended to fall asleep on the sofa, but the comfort and fatigue had won out.*
*The night passed, the hours going by quietly as Scott slept. Occasionally, he stirred slightly, mumbling something in his sleep, but for the most part, he was deeply asleep, his body and mind at rest after a long, eventful day.*
