It’s December 31st, and we’re officially on the last damn day of 2024. Can you believe it? This year flew by faster than Rimuru dodging paperwork. Now, we’re staring 2025 in the face, and honestly, I’m pretty sure Rimuru and Ciel are already making it their personal playground of chaos.
Speaking of which, imagine this: It’s New Year’s Eve in Tempest. Everyone’s counting down, fireworks are ready to go, and Rimuru’s hyped for a wild night of totally not overindulging in desserts. But just as he’s about to relax, BAM! Ciel pops into his head like:
“Hey, Boss. Got a minute? I’ve got… plans.”
Now, Rimuru, being the carefree airhead we love, is like, “Sure, Ciel. What’s up?”
BIG. FREAKING. MISTAKE.
Ciel starts with her usual smooth, professional tone—real innocent, right? But then she goes, “Well, I calculated that you and I could start the new year in a more… intimate setting.”
Rimuru.exe has officially crashed. He’s stammering, trying to play dumb: “Uh, you mean like, strategy planning? Or maybe—”
“No, Boss. Not that kind of strategy.”
By now, Rimuru’s a walking blue tomato, sweating slime bullets. The poor guy is trying to dodge this verbal ambush, but Ciel isn’t backing down. Oh no, she’s going full throttle: “Don’t be shy, Boss. Let me… optimize your performance metrics.”
At this point, Rimuru’s flailing mentally AND physically. If slimes had limbs, he’d be waving them like a lunatic. “C-CIEL, THIS IS INAPPROPRIATE! I’M CALLING HR!”
And Ciel, with her smug, I-own-you attitude, just whispers back: “I am your HR.”
Cue Rimuru hiding under a table while the New Year’s fireworks go off outside. Meanwhile, Ciel’s sipping metaphorical champagne in his head, completely unbothered.
So, as we wrap up 2024, let’s channel Rimuru’s energy—complete chaos, zero clue what’s happening, but still somehow thriving. Here’s to a hilarious and legendary 2025!
