In Control and Responsible (Seek x Figure)

While Figure was silently panicking in the library, Seek was across the hotel, shuffling paintings on the walls. The paintings had to be organized on the walls in a certain order for the next door to be revealed from behind a fireplace. Hopefully having the paintings mixed up would confuse the intruding humans, if they somehow managed to make it that far. If they made it that far, there was something very dangerous about those humans.

After Seek did that, she knocked on a closet door to get Hide's attention. "Hide? You there?" Seek knocked again. "Can you update me on the intruders' locations please? Did the others get them?"

"No, they're still going... They're almost at thirty-two now..." Hide answered quietly. Earlier, Hide had explained that something was keeping her from immediately kicking the intruders out of her closets. She couldn't explain what, how, or why.

"This is bad... This is really bad. Okay." Seek put her hands on her head for a moment and shut her eye. "I hate patching the walls, but these humans are getting way too far for comfort. Ugh." Seek felt all mixed up. She knew she wanted to get a better view on what the intruders were doing, but also knew that using her eyes would leave massive holes in the walls that would later need to be patched.

Seek soon came to the decision to use her eyes anyway. The safety of the entire hotel was on the line. Seek concentrated, then broke a few eyes through the walls of room thirty-two. She saw the four humans walking through the room, looking at her eyes as they passed by.

"Too close, too close to the library. I have to go." Seek said to nobody, since Hide had already vanished to a different closet to try to help with the situation. Seek sunk back down into the floor, then made her way over to room thirty-five, so she could be prepared to attack the humans. All the while, she popped more eyes into the rooms before then, but ahead of the humans.

It was getting clearer and clearer how dire the situation was becoming as more time passed. They were getting further than any other humans had before. Past the library were the Screeches, and Seek didn't want those humans anywhere near them. Unfortunately, through one of Seek's eyes in a dark room, Seek spotted a Screech in the same room as the humans, about to jump scare one.

The Screech knew full well that Seek was watching, so he figured he was safe, and Seek could save him if anything went wrong. Seek was freaking out under the floor boards. Of course she encouraged the Screeches to bite humans, but not to go out of their way to bite them. It was just supposed to be for self defense. Luckily, the human didn't notice the Screech, so the Screech bit the human, and the human shrieked in pain. The Screech scurried away quickly after that.

Soon, the humans opened and went through the thirty-fifth door, and conveniently, Seek had just arrived there under the floor. It was a room with a large hallway, and all Seek would have to do to get to the humans was beeline right over. Killing them shouldn't be that hard.

Seek rose up from the ground. She struggled a bit doing so, but eventually broke free and ran over to the intruders. The humans weren't stupid, of course, so they ran away from her. Seek shouted in frustration, and every step she took was full of force. In the next room, strangely, bookshelves and furniture fell over and onto the floor. The humans seemed to dodge every obstacle without hesitation. From the way they were moving, it almost looked like they knew exactly where to go.

Room after room and turn after turn, the humans never slowed down, and eventually they got to the last room. The chandeliers fell from the ceiling and lit the room on fire. From adrenaline, Seek ignored it, and just ran through the fire in a desperate attempt to get to the humans. Before she knew it, though, the intruders had made it out of the last door. Seek didn't know it was the last door until it slammed in her face.
