Drama Awards

Harin and Minho sat side by side, feeling more out of place than they'd ever been in their careers. The sleek, glitzy atmosphere of the SBS Drama Awards was a world away from the energetic stages and practice rooms they were accustomed to.

They were here as a couple, but their identities as idols had thrown them into the deep end. They weren't actors—at least, not in the traditional sense—but tonight, they were gracing the same red carpet as some of Korea's most famous drama stars.

Their nerves were palpable. Harin's fingers fidgeted with the strap of her dress, her eyes darting around the room. She wasn't used to all the glimmering lights, the cameras flashing every which way, or the intimidating presence of some of the country's top actors.

Minho, always a little more composed than Harin, wore a calm mask, but even he couldn't help but feel out of his element. He stole a quick glance at Harin, offering a small, reassuring smile.

"Do you think anyone will notice?" Harin whispered, her voice nervous but playful.

Minho grinned, brushing his hair back. "With our luck? Probably."

They sat in their seats as the ceremony continued around them, surrounded by the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world. The night was filled with elaborate performances, heartfelt speeches, and glimmering trophies being handed out.

Yet, despite the prestigious event and the overwhelming crowd, there was a sense of comfort between them—familiar, like a hidden secret they didn't need to explain.

The strange thing was that amidst the sea of actors, there was one glaring detail that stood out, the presence of their fans. Only Stays and Midzys were out in full force, holding their lightsticks high and waving them proudly.

Every now and then, a chant would erupt from the crowd, echoing with fervor as their fans cheered them on. The sound was louder than anything the drama actors could muster, and it made both Harin and Minho smile, feeling a sense of belonging in this sea of unfamiliar faces.

"Look at them." Harin said softly, leaning in to whisper to Minho. "They're all so excited to be here, even if it's not our thing."

Minho nodded, a small chuckle escaping him. "I'm not sure if I'm excited or terrified right now."

"Maybe both." Harin added with a teasing smile, glancing at the stage. The glimmering lights, the distant murmurs of excitement—everything felt so different from the usual energy of a concert. It was a quiet kind of madness, the kind that they weren't entirely used to.

As the night wore on, the anticipation was mounting. Finally, it was time for the most anticipated award of the night: Best Couple of the Year. The room fell into a hush as the nominees were announced. Harin and Minho exchanged a glance, their hearts racing. It still felt unreal that they were even nominated.

"We never actually thought we'd get this far, did we?" Harin whispered, her eyes glued to the screen where the list of nominees appeared.

Minho shook his head. "No, not in a million years."

The names were read off one by one, each pairing more glamorous than the last. Then, as the final name was announced, the host paused dramatically before declaring. "And the winner of Best Couple of the Year is... Harin and Minho!"

There was a collective gasp in the room, and for a brief moment, the sound of applause seemed distant. Harin froze, blinking in disbelief, and Minho, equally stunned, stared at the stage in complete silence. For a moment, it felt like the entire world had stopped spinning.
