Youjin the cautious: Maximum Carnage Unleashed

Random Cop POV:


I've been on this job for years, mostly it's been peaceful up here in Osaka. No crimes or anything. Japan is not known for having major crimes in recent years, most of them would be something subtle and dealt with.

The only major crime that happened in this area was years ago but this was different.

We got a call saying that a young student's body was found decapitated in a classroom of the school he attended. When I first heard about it from a colleague, I thought it was a joke or something but when we arrived and saw the scene it almost made me vomit.


Blood was on the windows, trickling all over the floor and most importantly, his head was missing. It wasn't on the floor or crushed, it was gone, like someone had taken it. Maybe the killer took it as a trophy or something?



Forensics say it must've been cut off due to how the cuts around his neck could've been done with something sharp.

Not only that but a locker that was in the classroom had its door ripped open, so there's no way he could have accidentally lost his head. I mean who loses their head by accident?

This incident is really gonna shake up the community for a while, there's several students outside and this kid's parents are grieving as the news is being addressed.



When we took a look at the security camera footage from the cameras that the school had installed it seemed the boy Kutake I think he exited the building along with the other students until minutes later he seemed to be running back into the building in a panic like he was running from something, or someone...

The only cameras we had were from the school entrance and the stairway but there were no hallway cameras. The footage only showed him running back in and showed the teacher who discovered his body after checking the classrooms. We already questioned him but he was in the staff room the whole time along with the other teachers so he can't be a suspect.



Damn, it's like he got killed but a ghost or something.



I was told to tape off the classroom as his body was being lifted onto a stretcher and to a awaiting ambulance.

But as his body was being taken away I noticed something crawling out from the damaged locker...



It was small, red and black but was moving. Was it alive?

I kneeled down in front of it gently to get a closer look, of course I wasn't gonna touch it cause I don't know what it is...



"The hell is that?" A random officer asked me as he also noticed the blob.

"I don't know, it looks like a slime but alive..." I answered.


I picked up a cup that was on the teacher's desk in the classroom and trapped the substance under it, making sure it can't escape.



As I did that it started to bang on the glass a bit as if it was trying to get out.



As I told my sergeant about it it started to gain more traction with other officers on the scene, contemplating what to do.


"Should we throw it away?" One officer asked.


"It might be an alien, I've seen nothing like that before." Another said.


"We can't just show this to the media, it might cause more panic than there already is if they know something otherworldly was found on the scene."



After a few more suggestions the sergeant of the squad spoke up.

"Alright, I know this might sound crazy but we have to keep this classified. Whatever this is clearly isn't from this world, look at how it's banging on the glass, it's really aggressive. We only have one option, and we have to get A.R.M.O.R involved..."



A.R.M.O.R....

They are a classified military squad that stands for "Anti-Reconnaissance and Munitions Operations Regiment". They're known for defensive, containment, and armed response on threats that are connected to likely extraterrestrial beings...

Most of their operations are done out of the public's view, the government has done a good job in covering them up but we have been sworn since day one of joining not to speak publicly about them or acknowledge their existence to anyone outside of the police or military.



I guess this is gonna be one interesting case, first a decapitated kid now we got aliens involved.


Ugh, I need a break from this job...



(Authors note:  A.R.M.O.R will play a larger role after Youjin takes his revenge so I'm just mentioning them here for now for when they come into play later. Sorry for this random POV but its just to set them up. Next up is gonna be the big one, Youjins revenge arc as Carange~)
