After the 'Act'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryan was sitting back on the couch, he could see Brendon walking around through the bedroom door, still in his 'costume'. He was sick, he was sick and tired of being Brendon's little toy, he didn't want to deal with all of Brendon's obsessions anymore.
"Brendon?" Ryan called out, seeing Brendon come to a halt - stopping from his pacing.
"Yes?" He ran up to the doorway excitedly.
"I don't.." he paused, "I don't think I can do this anymore. I'm so tired of all these obsessions. This relationship isn't fun! I want it to be a normal relationship." Ryan blurted out.
Brendon was silent for a second, before saying "Well, Ryan, we aren't a normal relationship. We are a gay relationship, it's meant to be weird." He spat.
"It's not meant to be this way! I'm sick of it all! I'm just your toy! I'm done!" Ryan began to cry, running out the front door.
He didn't hear Brendon follow behind, after all, why would he? Brendon was only in the relationship to fulfil his needs, he would easily be able to find someone else to fulfil them.
Later that night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryan was sitting at a random bar in the middle of town, drinking his feelings away, when he heard a familiar voice.
"Ryan? Is that you?" Ryan turned around to see non-other than Victor Vincent Fuentes smiling at him, giving him a wave.
"Vic? What are you doing here," Ryan asked, puzzled, "shouldn't you be at home with Kellin and the kids..?" Ryan questioned.
"I needed to get out, he hasn't been the same recently." Vic looked down, slight tears in his eyes.
"I can relate." Ryan picked up his glass of whisky, chugging it down, before wiping his face.
"Is stuff happening with you and Brendon?" Vic sat down next to Ryan.
"Yeah, I suppose." Ryan shrugged, "I sort of broke up with him, but I'm not sure." He sighed.
"What happened?" Vic reached out, holding Ryan's hand to show support.
Ryan hesitated whether or not to tell what happened. His heart was beating, finally getting to tell someone what was happening behind closed doors.
"He.." tears began to swell, "he's had these weird obsessions recently, and I hate it! I hate it so much! I want it to be a normal relationship but he doesn't! I just can't catch a break, I thought I was in love with him, but I think I was just telling myself that." Tears began streaming down his face.
"Hey it's okay." Vic reached his other hand out, wiping away Ryan's tears.
"I just couldn't deal with it anymore." Ryan looked into Vic's eyes, there was a light in there, looking back, Ryan felt warm inside.
"I'm here for you, Ryan." Vic tilted his head, giving a smile, still holding his hand.
"Thank you, Vic.." Ryan gave a slight smile, "So, what's been happening with you and Kellin?" Ryan asked, sincerely.
"Uh," Vic stopped for a second, "it's quite a similar situation, he's also been into some weird stuff. I had to get away for the night so I came here." He shrugged, "But I can't leave him, I have to stay, you know? For the kids." He frowned.
"I hope it works out for you." Ryan took his free hand putting it on top of Vic's.
"Thank you, Ry." Vic pulled his hand away, fixing his luscious brown hair.
"I don't know what I'm going to do without being with Brendon, I don't know life without him." Ryan pulled his hands to his face, wiping tears which kept falling.
"Come here." Vic offered a hug.
Ryan hugged him back, wrapping his arms around him, close. He could feel Vic's hand running up and down his back, comforting him. The embrace felt warm, his heart was beating, it was something Ryan had never felt before, this embrace was special.
"It's okay Ryan, it's okay to cry." Vic continued to hold him, keeping him close.
"Thank you," Ryan slightly pulled back to look into Vic's eyes, "Do you wanna get out of this bar? Maybe a walk?" Ryan smiled.
"Sure, I'm happy to go for a walk." Vic stood up, pulling Ryan's hand.
They walked out the door of the bar, walking towards the waterfront. The moon was full, a slight breeze picked up the smell of the seawater. The two of them walked to the railing of a pier, looking out into the abyss of the water. Vic turned to Ryan, picking his hand up.
"I'm here for you Ryan, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here, just give me a call." Vic lifted Ryan's hand up to his chest, holding it close to him.
Ryan's hands were stretched out to Vic's chest, he could feel the Vic's heartbeats along with his own. They beat in unison, both loud and fast. Ryan was lost for words, he was lost in Vic's eyes, he couldn't look away. Vic slowly let go of Ryan's hands, letting his own hands call to his side. Ryan slightly held onto Vic's grey-blue sweater, still staying close. He took a step closer to him, raising a hand to Vic's face. As he got closer Vic laid his hands on Ryan's waist. They looked into each other's eyes, their faces inches away.
"Ryan.." Vic whispered, still holding onto his waist.
Ryan's hand traced down Vic's face onto his neck. The sounds of waves crashed against the beach.
"I can't.. Ry.. I'm still married to Kellin.. I'm sorry.." Vic took a step back, Ryan's hands falling down.
"I can't, I'm sorry." He turned away, walking down the pier, away from the streetlights.
Ryan fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. "God.. I ruin everything." He muttered under his breath. He looked to his hands, tears falling, then wrapping his hands around himself.
"Hey? Are you alright?" A voice echoed in the silence from behind him.
Ryan turned his head around to see Frank Iero, he was wearing black pants with a white dress shirt. He had a single red-fingerless glove, a red tie, and a bullet proof vest. Ryan looked back to the ground, tears hitting the wooden planks of the pier. He felt a soft hand lay on his back.
"Ryan? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Frank placed a hand on Ryan's cheek turning his head towards him.
"I.." Ryan continued to burst out into tears.
"Hey, hey, come here, it's alright." He gave Ryan a hug. The two of them were kneeling on the planks of the pier. Ryan was slumped into Frank's arms, tears still coming.
"I ruin everything." Ryan blurted out, gasping.
"Why do you say that?" Frank held him close.
"I broke up with Brendon! And.." he stuttered, "And the guy I like can't date me!" He looked into Franks eyes, seeing the same light in his eyes as he saw in Vic's.
"It's okay.. it's okay Ryan." He ran a hand up and down Ryan's back, which sent a shiver down his spine. "It's late Ryan, let's get you home." He reassured him.
"But.." Ryan cried, "But Brendon!" He gasped.
"It's okay, I'll come with you, you'll be okay." He continued holding Ryan.
The two of them stood up, Frank kept an arm around Ryan's waist, reassuring him.

At Ryan + Brendon's House
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ryan? Do you want me to come in with you?" Frank looked to him, giving a soft smile.
"Yeah, please." He wiped away a tear.
Looking through the windows, only a few lights were on, meaning Brendon was still awake. The two of them walked up to the front door, Ryan pulled out his key, fumbling with it, struggling to get it in the hole. Frank lifted up his hand to hold Ryan's to help with his shaky hands. Ryan looked to Frank, who was guiding his hand with the key. The key turned and the door slightly opened, with Frank still holding Ryan's hand. The house was silent except for a few creaking sounds from the bedroom. Ryan kept an arm around Franks, they walked in together silently. There were a pair of slip on shoes that a grandma would wear.
"Those aren't mine or Brendon's shoes." Ryan turned to Frank.
"It's okay, let's just get your stuff." Frank persisted, putting a hand softly on Ryan's face.
The two of them walked down the hallway to the bedroom door, which was closed, and loud creaking sounds coming from behind it. Frank slowly turned the handle to be faced with horror.
