The next day, 1/24, Akira went outside the palace, alone, ignoring the cold weather.

He pulls out the nav, and enters the palace, sneaking his way onto the stage where he first met up with Maruki.

Akira: Maruki! I know you're here! Show yourself you bastard, I need to talk!

Maruki's Voice: Kurusu-san?

Akira: Show your face right this moment!

Maruki's Voice: You seem tense and angry.

Akira: Get your ass down here right now! We have a lot to discuss

Maruki sighs and appears before Jokerz

Akira: So you showed up.

Maruki: You're alone? Do you plan to confront me by yourself?

Akira: No, I'm not that dumb. I just want to talk.

Maruki: Talk about what?

Akira: Sumire.

Maruki: What is it about her you want to talk about?

Akira: We sorta dated for a bit, back when I thought she was Kasumi

Maruki: And I could have brought that back if you joined me.

Akira: So, you admit to causing something so that when sumire was thinking she was Kasumi, she was forced to have feelings for me?

Maruki: I didn't force her to have feelings, I simply increased her attraction towards you.

Akira: Why?

Maruki: To give you and her happiness.

Akira: So you basically forced her into a relationship she probably didn't want?

Maruki: I'm sorry, but there was no other way you two could have gotten together since I knew you liked her.

Akira: Well if it was never meant to be why couldn't you leave it at that? The rejection might of hurtrd me but this hurts way more.

Maruki: I didn't want it to be like this

Akira: I don't know what the hell I even fell for!

Maruki: If you join me, I can fix all of this.

Akira: You're the reason this is happening!

Maruki: That's why I want to fix it!

Akira: By forcing people to feel things they don't want to?

Maruki: She was happy when she was experiencing it.

Akira: but it wasn't real, was it.

Maruki: Kasumi wished for a boyfriend one day. Back when she was alive. I granted her that with you. Tried to make you both happy.

Akira: Everyone wishes to have a significant other genius! That doesn't mean messing with people's feelings is okay! You know how it makes me feel? All the effort I put into our relationship only to be told it was a lie?!

Maruki: It wasn't a lie.

Akira: I shot fucking god in the head because I thought she killed her, in her name! Now I don't even know if my feelings were genuine for her! I don't know what I'm feeling!

Maruki: I had nothing to do with the False God's doings.

Akira: I know, you had nothing to do with how I feel, it's all my fault for being such an idiot and falling for someone who wasn't real. But still, you made me believe that lie! I don't know what to do about this!
