David’s POV

I could hear yelling behind me, but I didn't care now. All I care about right now is recovering the video footage that could prove my brother is still alive. I see Judah look back and stop walking. I can tell he wants to go back, but I gently grab his arm and give him a look.
“How about you go tell Josiah to come with us instead? I think you’re needed here more than with us on this mission,” I said, giving him a sad smile. He looked up at me, hugged me, and ran back toward the med bay.

After stopping by the tech lab and grabbing the needed gear, we headed to the Arxis room, where Josiah awaited us.
“Are you guys ready for this?” I turn to ask them, and they nod. I give a quick nod to the person by the control panel, and they nod, too. The person by the computer presses a button, and the Arxis opens. I take a deep breath and walk through the portal.

The scene before me makes me want to turn away and forget about this mission. What was once the amazing M.O.M. Headquarters is now a giant pile of rubble and ash caused by an awful group of people.
“Alright, everyone spread out. We are looking for a power box that connects to the security cameras. It should be hidden under some rubble around where the eastern side of the building used to be. Yell if you find anything,” I told them, then proceeded toward a pile of rubble.

Brittany’s POV

I watch him as he heads toward a pile of rubble near the eastern side of where the building used to be, picking up rocks and throwing them willy-nilly. I walk over to him, put a hand on his shoulder, and he looks up at me. I smile at him reassuringly. I bend down, pick up a rock, and toss it aside. I turn to him and ask.
“What is the plan once we find the old security cameras? What if there are none still intact?”
“Well when I do find the camera, I’ll have Josiah search through the footage to see what happened that day, and I’m sure there is at least one camera still intact!” he said
“Maybe If we find a camera, we should give it to someone at the agency?” I ask knowing fully well that I’m probably going to get yelled at for that question, before he can respond, I hear Mary yell for all of us to come to her because she found something.

Mary’s POV

“Guys get over here now, Josiah and I think we might’ve something” I shout. Brittany and David come running over, Josiah picks up a rock tosses it to the side, and points to a somewhat damaged control panel, Josiah opens the panel
“Josiah, do you think you could obtain the footage from that day?” Brittany asks
“I mean I can try,” Josiah says while taking out a gadget and plugging it into a switch in one of the ports
“I can only download it, so we’ll have to watch it back at base,” Josiah explains
“Alright, once it’s done downloading let's head back, I don’t wanna be here any longer than we need to be,” Mary said
“Alright, it’s finished downloading. Let's go!” Josiah said as he unplugged the device from the panel.
They all start running to the portal when they hear a strange noise.
“I truly don’t wanna know what that sound was,” David says
Josiah takes out his walkie and radios someone at HQ and a portal opens, they all rush into the portal… .
