The Games. ??major WIP??

it's a biggg wip and it's also my first story so... yeah! i just wanna get ideas out there and get feedback. it's squid game based but not on the main characters. Just like i'm imaging a random side character. It's gonna be violent or like themes of violence. just wait. i'll figure this out :) this is also all season one based and was written so so so late at night, it might as well be morning.

"Please, I promise I'll pay you back- just give me three months!" I yell as I beg the man hovering over me to let me go. I just needed the money. I was so desperate, and I had nowhere else to go. This guy seemed like my only option at the time, even though the whole process was a little sketchy, and seeing his little henchmen everywhere I go is a little unnerving. He's never bothered me. Until now, now I'm on the floor, a burn on my cheek, and my dinner money in that sneaky bastard's hands.

"You only have 10,000 won, how pathetic. You know, I'm feeling generous, so I'll let you keep your money." He grabs my chin, his long, unkempt nails digging into my skin. "You're a week behind on your payment, Ms. Han... consider this a warning." His lips make what I can only guess to be a smirk. He snatches his right-hand man's cigarette out of their mouth and takes a slow drag of it before blowing it out in my eyes.

"Here comes the airplane..." Slowly he moves the lit cigarette closer and closer and closer. I stare uneasily at the approaching cigarette. This guy loves messing around. You can never tell if he's just joking around. What a sick sense of humor. He's just smiling.

"I'm just kidding, Han. Lighten up," he puts out the cigarette on the wall, too close to my face than it should have been. "What a buzzkill. Let's go, guys-remember Han. I need the next fourth of your payment by like mid-June. Consider yourself lucky. Not all loan sharks are this generous." The door slams shut on his way up. Generous, huh? What bullshit.

Oh well, I guess I dragged myself into this. It's not my fault I love the way that little white ball graciously dances across the roulette spinner.

So. it isn't done yet. if you could just comment like constructive feedback if you read this i would appreciate it! and then i can keep adding and just really flesh it out and improve it.

loke what would make the character connect with the audience and what do you generally like in a piece of writing and what do you dislike?

but like yk how in like teg first episode it shows how 456 is like in debt and why he's actually joining the games, that's what i'm going for bc even if you haven't watched the show you probably already know what happens
