The last day.

Today was the last day before the first task.  Nearly the whole school had been talking about it. Excited.

But y/n and hermione weren't feeling a single bit of excitement.

Mainly worried emotions filled their body as they thought of the dangers that could occur.

Even though he didn't want to admit or show it., Ron was worried too.

Hermione was still furious at him.

He still had not been talking to harry unless he absolutely had too.

I had to hear all about it from hermione. Considering she couldn't really talk to anyone about it cause her two closest friends were the ones involved in the drama. I was the victim too her long rants.

Though I didn't really mind. I had listened to everyone's rants.

When I had woken up I only had one thing on my mind.

Harry.—— I mean the first task.

I got ready quickly, I wanted to help harry as soon as possible.

I made my way to the great hall and scanned the gryffindor table for a particular raven haired boy and puffy haired girl.

Nowhere.

Seeing as they weren't in the great hall. I decided to check the library.

I walked in and started scanning each isle and every desk.

As I was swiftly walking through the isles my eyes fell and a particularly familiar hufflepuff.

As I walked past his eyes met with mine.

I then stopped and started to walk towards him with a half smile.

Not only did I have harry to worry about. Cedric had been growing on me., and I cared for him a lot as well.

"Hey.," I said as I slowly walked up to him.

He smiled

"Hey y/n., you looking for someone.?" He asked.

"Oh yeah. . . , uhm well I was actually looking for harry." She said

Cedric felt that small tight knot of jealousy twist in his stomach.

He felt. . . . . envious.

Why couldn't he be her first priority. Instead it was harry.

Her warm innocent smile pulled him out of his depressing thoughts.

"Sorry., I haven't asked how are you doing with the first task.?" She asked now with a worried facial expression.

"Oh well I think I've got a good plan.." he said with a pondering face.

"As long as it works. I don't want you to get hurt.., seriously cedric. I'm worried about you." She said firmly with the same worried facial expression with furrowed eyebrows.

Hearing her say that made cedric heat up.

He was confused by how much of an affect y/n had on him. How her simple touch made him feel tingly inside. How her words make his mood change within seconds. Or how weak her smile made him feel. It kind of scared him.

They had started talking and laughing while enjoying every ounce of one another's presence.

Just than, hermione and harry walked through the library doors. Harry's eyes immediately fell on y/n and cedric.
