The concert arena buzzed with energy as the lights dimmed and IU took her final bow. The crowd erupted in applause, the sound reverberating throughout the venue. Jungkook stood among them, clapping so hard his hands stung. His voice was hoarse from singing along, but his face was lit up with a happiness that was rare to see.

Beside him, Taehyung stood quietly, watching Jungkook with a small, hidden smile beneath his mask. The older boy’s joy was infectious, and for a moment, Taehyung allowed himself to bask in it. It was strange—he’d attended countless events more luxurious and exclusive than this, but tonight felt different. Because of him, Taehyung thought, his eyes lingering on Jungkook’s glowing face.

As the crowd began to disperse, Jungkook turned to Taehyung, his eyes sparkling. “Taehyung, this was the best night of my life. Thank you. I can’t believe you got those tickets.”

Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly, though his heart skipped a beat at the gratitude in Jungkook’s voice. “It’s no big deal, hyung. I just thought you’d enjoy it.”

Jungkook grinned. “Enjoy it? I’ll be talking about this for weeks! You don’t understand how much I love IU.”

Taehyung’s smirk deepened. “Oh, I understand.”

They began making their way toward the exit, blending into the sea of fans still buzzing with excitement. Jungkook was humming one of IU’s songs under his breath, completely oblivious to the way Taehyung was observing him.

“Hyung,” Taehyung said suddenly, his voice cutting through the noise.

Jungkook glanced at him, surprised. “What is it?”

Taehyung hesitated for a moment, then said, “The night isn’t over yet.”

Jungkook frowned, confused. “What do you mean?”

Taehyung didn’t answer. Instead, he gestured for Jungkook to follow him. Intrigued and slightly suspicious, Jungkook trailed behind as Taehyung led him through a series of corridors backstage. The security guards didn’t stop them, much to Jungkook’s surprise.

“Taehyung,” Jungkook said, his voice a mix of curiosity and concern. “Where are we going?”

“You’ll see,” Taehyung replied cryptically.
