The room was enlightened with a light, golden warm glow, the silence and warmth of the room was cutting through the light muffled sobs of a girl.
She was sitting on the floor leaning her back on the edge of the bed, her legs folded and pulled closer to her chest, her arms wrapped around her knees and face hidden in her arms, her face was streaked with tears, her eyes were spilling non stop tears, she was sobbing loudly but was trying to muffle them, her cries were getting intensified as the fiasco happened moments ago was reeling in her mind making her cry more and more.
"Mein ne bola tha sab ko ke isse itna door parhne ke lie bhejne ki koii zaroorat nahi hai, baar baar mana kia lekin yahan sab ko meri baatein buri lagti hain, dekha jis ka dar tha wahi hua, mila di na hamaray khandan ki izzat matti mein, kia moo dikhayein ge logo ko ab??"
"Dadi please hume baat karne dein!!"
"Kia baat karein ge?? Kia bolein gi yeh?? Raat gaye achanak se ek bacha apne saath le aii..... Iss se ziada kia reh gaya hai ab!! Kal har jagah ye khabar chale gi ke Malik khandan ki beti achanak se agaii or apne saath ek bacha bhi le aii!! Kia izzat reh jaye gi hamari!! Election arahe hain aur ab ye naya masla!!"
"Noor!! Ek baar poochoo ga mein aap se aur ap ek hi baar mein mujhe sach sach batayein gi!! Ye bacha apka hai??"
"Bh-bhaiya..."
"Han ya Naa!!"
"Ha-han!!"
A loud slap voice echoed through the living room cutting through the tension making everyone gasp.
"Mahirr/ Bhaiyaaa!!"
The sobs intensified more as the flashback of her brother, the brother who has always kept her like a feather, like a rose, so delicately and so lovingly, slapped her for the first time in her entire life.
"Mama!!...Mama bhaiya ne mara mujhe!!" She sobbed.
"Mama mein kia karoo gi ab??!"
"Mama!! Baba!!" She sobbed loudly, her breaths hitching.
Suddenly a loud sharp crying voice of an infant echoed in the room but her sobs were so loud that she didn't heard it and chanted one word while crying....
"Mama!!"
"Mama!! Baba!! wapas ajayein mere pass!!"
"Mama!!"
"Mama???" She whispered and her eyes widened, she stood up hurriedly and looked at the bed in realisation.
The baby boy of few weeks, an infant, was there lying on her bed and was crying loudly, his face was red because of his constant crying, arms and legs flaring in the air, in an attempt of finding comfort.
She wiped her face and ran to Him hurriedly, her hands trembled as she picked up the crying boy in her hands gently and rocked him.
"Shhh!! Shhh! Sorry bacha mein ne nahi suna!! Mama idhar hi hain meri jaan!! Shh ro nahi...." She whispered and cuddled him close to her chest, kissing his little head softly, rocking him and cooing at him.
As the baby heard her soft whispers and recognised his mother's familiar scent, he calmed down and his cries slowed down, he looked at her with his doe eyes filled with tears.
"Mama ki jaan, bhook lagi hai apko?? Mera pyara beta!!" She cooed at him, smiling at him but her eyes were betraying her as her tears were falling nonstop. She sat down on the bed to feed the little baby.
Unknown to her three pairs of eyes were watching her from the slightly opened door of her room with tears.........
How will this go??? How will the lives and relationships take turns??? The biggest question mark lingered and that shattered the Malik Mansion's peace and happiness today!!!
