It was the first day of school, and Kurt felt both nervous and excited. He was the type of person who loved going to school to spend time with his best friends and learn new things. However, as they entered senior high, Kurt and his friends would be attending different schools. This made Kurt feel upset because he had never been apart from them before. He knew he would miss them, but his best friends reassured him, saying not to worry; they could still stay in touch through chatting. Even so, he missed hanging out together.

Kurt arrived at his new school and found that his old classmate, Allan, was also enrolled there. They had known each other since eighth grade, and Kurt considered Allan a friend too. He was glad to have at least one familiar face around, even if his best friends were at a different school.

As Kurt and Allan entered their classroom, they noticed that it was filled with students they had never seen before. They chose seats together at the back. The room was dead silent as they waited for the teacher to arrive. To ease the awkwardness, Kurt and Allan began talking about how they had been doing over the past few months. Suddenly, a girl with glasses, who appeared outgoing, approached them.

"Hello! My name is Katarina! Nice to meet you!" she greeted enthusiastically.

"Sup! I'm Allan, and this is Kurt," Allan introduced them. Kurt, feeling too shy to say much, simply waved and nodded.

Katarina sat down beside them and initiated conversation, eager to get to know each other. Kurt was pleasantly surprised that he had already made a friend on the first day. As they continued chatting, a guy entered the classroom with a smirk on his face.

"The donkey is making friends again, as usual," he said, earning an annoyed look from Katarina. "Ugh! What are you doing here?" she asked with frustration.

"Oh, I just came by to say hi to my favorite bestie," the guy replied with a grin.

"Oh? Is he your friend?" Allan asked.

"Well, I guess you could say that," Katarina responded.

"Hey! What do you mean by that?!" the guy exclaimed, sounding offended.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. This is Sam, my friend. Sam, these are our new classmates, Kurt and Allan," Katarina introduced everyone. "Nice to meet you guys! I know for a fact we'll get along very well!" Sam said with a friendly smile.

A few minutes passed before the teacher finally arrived, slightly late. "I'm sorry for being late on our first day, everyone! Haha!" she said as she wrote her name on the whiteboard. "Hello everyone! I'm Mrs. Martinez, and I'll be your teacher this semester. Since it's the first day, why don't we introduce ourselves one by one? Starting with..." Just then, the door opened, and a guy walked in, out of breath.

When Kurt saw him, he thought to himself, "Shit, he's kinda cute-WAIT, NO, STOP IT!"

"I'm sorry I'm late..." the guy stammered, still catching his breath.

"Oh, please introduce yourself," Mrs. Martinez encouraged.

"Huh? Me? But I just got here-" the guy said, embarrassed.

"No, no, come here. Tell us your name, age, and hobbies," Mrs. Martinez insisted. The other students giggled, making him blush.

"Hello! My name is Jake Lacras. I'm 17 years old, and my hobbies are sports and music," he said while looking down. "Interesting... I want to know more about him..." Kurt thought to himself, reminding himself to stay calm since he had only just met Jake.
