3:30 am, when Yeseo checked the time on her phone it was 3:30 am. She was at sitting at the benches near the train station. She didn't know why she was there, or why this was happening to her but she did know one thing. She had to get money fast.

To pay off the people after her and to pay the hospital bills her little sister had. Yeseo had been struggling with debt ever since they're parents died in a car crash. Her and her sister used to live with their abusive Foster parents but after running away and becoming independent things was good for a while until,

Yeseo's little sister da-ah got diagnosed with stomach cancer things got harder for her, her sister was only 10 years old and it truly hurt Yeseo to see her beautiful little sister get weaker and weaker everyday.

Yeseo didn't want to go back to her foster parents but after 3 years of living paycheck by paycheck she takes on a risky decision. She takes out a loan that's about 90 million won, it was a huge amount of money but it helped with food and the hospital bills.

But soon enough the people she owed money to got violent demanding the money. Yeseo tried to pay it back but Yeseo's  paycheck just wasn't enough.

After nearly getting broke in by one of the goons of the people Yeseo owed money to Yeseo decided to leave her sister to a friend for a while, so Yeseo could think about the money she owed. Yeseo didn't know how or where to get the money but she needed to find some fast. 

Yeseo, just sat there in the train station alone, cold and hungry but Yeseo pushed them aside since Yeseo had bigger problems to worry about.

Suddenly, a man in a suit with a briefcase sat next to Yeseo but Yeseo didn't even glance at him once, Yeseo was too drained and worked up about her  own problems. Yeseo didn't have time to interact with other people.

"May I ask you're name?" The man said, and Yeseo glance up at him and said "what?".

The man just chuckled "do you want to play Yeseo?" After the man said that Yeseo's eyes widen. Yeseo thought, "how did this lunatic know my name?"

As if sensing Yeseo's discomfort the man got up and opened his briefcase. Inside the briefcase was money. Lot's of money. It was so much that Yeseo didn't even know how much it was.

"Tempting? I'll tell you what. If you win 10 rounds of ddakji with me, I'll give you this briefcase with 30 million won" the man said,

Yeseo's eyes widen and she considered it for a moment and said, "but what?"

"What do you mean but what?" The man said,
"I don't know there's just always a but, if I win all the 10 rounds you will just give all this money to me? That's it?" Yeseo said, in an unimpressed tone.

The man just laughs and says, "you seem like you want a challenge. Fine if you lose a round then I'd get to slap you. But if you do win then you get to slap me. Deal?" The man says while holding out his hand for a handshake.

Yeseo sat there for an extra 2 minutes thinking about it. She thought, "is this guy crazy or what?" After a lot of consideration she finally agrees. She takes the man's hand and says "I'm in"

In the end Yeseo only won 3 rounds, plus she had a swollen cheek.

"Too bad you lost" the man said.

Yeseo snapped and yelled "no again! Another 10 rounds. Slap me all the want I just want to win"

The man smirked and pulled out a small brown business cards with the shapes square, triangle and circle on the front and on the back there was a number.

"Yeseo you're a smart girl aren't you? You aren't the one to give up easily. If you want money you can participate in 6 games and if you win you will get 4.1 billion won" the man said,

Yeseo's eyes widened. 4.1 billion won? That more was more than enough to pay all her debt. Yeseo however was suspicious. What was a man in a suit with a briefcase of money just walking around the train station alone? She thought, however she was desperate. Desperate enough to agree.

In the end Yeseo was sitting alone in the train station with the card in her hand while the man walks away with a satisfied grin.
